a pirated pontoon boat

Just remembered this . We were at BWV OCT 15 to 20. One day while DW was in the screen door and I was sitting on a bench by the rail by the boat ramps at BW this pontoon boat comes speeding out from Epcot area. Another pontoon came following it. The 1st boat had 1 person in it( with no shirt on ) and the 2nd had about 3 or 4 people. As the 1st boat passed the lighthouse he made a 180 degree turn and wissed by the 2nd boat. Then the 2nd boat turned but a little slower and chased the 1st. At this time I thought I saw a PIRATE FLAG on the 1st boat ( pretty sure it was but it was far away) Next thing I know the 1st pontoon headed towards the beach by the YC/BC pirate ship and beach the pontoon boat. The guy jumped off and ran up towards SAB and then I couldn't see him any more. The 2nd pontoon then pulled up by the 1st and a guy got out and went over to the 1st and got on and took the flag down. They waited awhile then got back on the 2nd boat and headed to the marina. I guess the PIRATE TOOK THE KEY WITH HIM BECAUSE ABOUT 10 MIN LATER A cm WALK DOWN FROM THE marina and got the 1st pontoon off the beach and over to the marina.

Not sure which CM took down the pirate flag, the one from the 2nd boat or the marina.

Now the big question is DID anyone else there at that time see this happen or was I just dreaming about PIRATES?

I can tell you that Disney runs pirate cruises for kids from the YC dock several times per week. They use the pontoon boats to host them. Our son did one earlier this year.

Perhaps that played a role in what you saw.

I saw the exact same thing. I was there the 18th-21st and we saw the pirate dock and run off at the YC

And the 2nd boat was just a bunch of paparazzi?

We were there at that time, but I completely missed that action. My girls were on the pirate cruise the week before, so that would have been interesting to watch.

Was not there the 15th to the 20th, but did see something similar. Not a pontoon boat, but one of the smaller 1 person boats being run with a guy with a pirate flag. This was on Nov 4th. He was approaching the Studios/Epcot boats like he was going to board. He had a pirate bandana on and eye patch as well. I assumed it was a CM, or someone in their halloween costume having some fun.
