A pin question.

I have a spaceman K7 pin (pinpics#353) and on the back it has stamped "Limited Edition" and underneath that has a blank space where the edition number should be followed by a slash and a number, the number in my case is 750. Does this mean I have a possible artist proof I know artists proofs have an AP stamped in, but I hear various stories about them or do I have a prototype of this pin. If I have either what could be the possible edition size of my pin and how rare is it?

When it comes to numbered pins usually AP is NOT stamped on the back.
the number of the pin is not stamped so it would have
(blank)/750.
Hard to say how many AP's they made of this pin..much lower than 750.
I know my disney store when they sold framed pin set always has the regular ones and artist proof ones..
Sounds like a good find..

I forget where I got it but I noticed it on the back of the pin when I was sorting through my traders.

The 1998 DL attraction pins came out about the same time that New Tomorrowland opened. To commerate the opening of New Tomorrowland, the Disney Gallery (DL's counterpart to WDW's Art of Disney Stores) sold 3 framed art pieces. Each contained about 5 pins, and a nice lithograph. One was for the original Tomorrowland, one was for the 1966 Tomorrowland, and one was for the new 1998 Tomorrowland.

These framed art pieces were limited to 750 pieces, so what you have is a K7 Spacemen that was sold in the framed art piece, which someone got a hold of and broke up and traded the pins from.

Wow, thanks Hope I have a bunch of 98 DL Tomorrowland attraction pins now I gotta check them out for other set pins.

Yay! I found another one this one is the viewliner pin. Now the K7 and the viewliner pin are going in the keeper book.
