So here is something interesting I just discovered...

My favorite Mickey is Band Concert Mickey (from the 1935 short); and because of that I tend to take any BC Mickey photos I can when he pops up in the park.

Last year, before Toontown closed, I took several pictures of Mickey and Minnie's homes. And discovered a little BC Mickey on display:

I also purchase BC Mickey items when I find them (which is rare). Last month I was visiting Theme Park Connection (warehouse of Disney stuff just north of the parks) and bought this little guy:

It wasn't until just this morning when I was looking through old photos that I noticed the similarity... what do you think, did I just purchase an item from Mickey's cottage and not realize it?!?

I have purchased several BC Mickey items and am pretty familiar with the merchandise available, but outside of these two instances, have never seen this little guy. The warehouse (which is open to the public) specializes in selling exclusive items (such as Costumes and CM memorabilia), so it is plausible for them to have something this unique.

The nerdiness inside me is about to explode!!

PS - it was only $5!!

Nevermind, there are enough paint differences to indicate they are not the same item.

Oh well, it was an exciting 30 minutes to think part of Mickey's cottage was in my home!!
