I need you Universal experts advice on my Nov trip planning. We have one day where we can either go to Sea World or Universal Orlando combined. We have been to Universal once before(2 years ago) and had alot of fun, but we've never been to Sea World. Here's what we would be trying to accomplish at Universal:
Jimmy Neutron
Simpsons
Beetlejuice
E.T.
Men in Black
Woody Woodpecker
Mummy
Incredible Hulk
Spiderman
Jurassic Park
Flying Unicorn
Caro-Seuss-El
One Fish, Two Fish
Cat in the Hat
High in the Sky

I think my kids would enjoy going back to Universal more than going to Sea World, but my question is does that list sound like something that can be done in one day. It would be the first week of November and I do plan to get Universal Express passes.

I think you could do that since November is usually not too busy. I'm assuming you are going during Jersey week which can be a little busier. but you should be fine with express. I'd try to add Jaws, Disaster!, and Dueling Dragons to your schedule and would probably skip Beetlejuice. I also prefer Shrek to Jimmy Neutron.

Oh yeah I forgot to put Shrek on the list. Dueling Dragons we did before and although I prefer it, DD11 likes Hulk better and I think we'll only have time for one or the other. Jaws we saw last time, and that in love with. Disaster was Earthquake right? We did that lat time as well. This trip would be more of a Universal favorites list than anything else. I would also prefer not to watse time on Beetlejuice, but again it's the kids. And yes, it is Jersey Week when we're going. If a couple of those things get left off we'll be O.K.

Oh, on a side note I should ask you about Shrek. We didn't do it last time b/c of something I heard about spiders. Last year we did ITTBAB, and the little ones liked it, but were somewhat afraid. Is Shrek's spider thing worst that that? You can tell me exactly what happens, I don't mind. When it comes to little kids, the less surprises the better.

I don't think the spider is worse than ITTBAB. But since i don't have a fear of spiders, then I'm not sure on that one. You know when the mice run under your feet at Honey I Shrunk the Audience? They have that same technique with the spiders. You see a a bunch of spiders coming down from the ceiling (in 3-D film) and then they run under your feet. Put your feet up and you will be fine.

Disaster is a little different than Earthquake. I think you would enjoy it but if you're short on time, I can see skipping it.

That part always makes me freak a little...I do NOT like spiders but it's not a big deal and they're only on screen for a minute or two. You should see me trying to watch Arachnaphobia...it ain't pretty.

When is jersey week??
Our vacation is Nov 2-8. I believe it's that Thurs. & Friday that the schools are closed. I will double check.

ETA: Yes the convention is the 6th, 7th, & 8th which is Thur, Fri, Sat.

Sounds to me like you really want to do Universal rather than SeaWorld and given your early November date, seeing all those things in a day shouldn't be too hard, even without UE. Crowds will be light.

I wasn't sure if you were thinking about trying to do both UO and SW in one day, but I certainly wouldn't advise trying that!

However, I am also a big SeaWorld fan so you might want to consider that. There are a few thrill rides there for the kids and the shows are fabulous!

It's all so confusing. I would guess that we would probably enjoy UO more than SW, but we've never been to SW. Having kids in 3 different age/height groups is difficult. With UO, I wouldn't ant to set foot on property unless I was pretty sure everyone can at least get SOME of what they want to do done. DD11 loves the HULK, DD6 loves Spiderman, DD4 loves Seuss. I had thought of just doing IOA and not US, but if I could get it all in there I'd like to try. I think Sea World would be more of a relaxed touring day without trying to squeeze a billion rides into 1 day. Luckily I have 7 months to figure all of this.

BTW, I have your home travel agent course and loved it! Very informative. Thank You.
