Well, Mike's interested in going, but considering that we don't know what the future holds, we're not planning on that just yet. So far, our plans for the future don't go past Christmas But yes, I have my dates set! I also have an itinerary that I did up last night I'm going to post it later.

All righty... So now that this is a solo trip, I've changed my PTR title (and apparently confused a couple people ) and picked firm dates AND I have a tentative itinerary for now!

As you guys know, I don't do specific plans, just a general "Well, I know I want to do this" thing, aside from ADRs. This is the itinerary for the time being, unless things change for some reason (like flight times or what have you):

Friday, October 26, 2012: Early flight out of MDW in Chicago on Southwest. I'm hoping to not buy the Customer of Size ticket this time around, but I won't know for sure until next spring or summer. I'll take DME from MCO to Pop, since I have no problem letting them handle my luggage and see no need for a rental car when it's just me. Like last time, I'm going to go to Downtown Disney and do some wandering. I'll likely grab lunch at Earl of Sandwich and do some shopping, maybe catch a movie. I'm also going to grab dinner at Raglan Road, which has quickly become my favorite TS at DTD. When I get tired or bored, I'll head back to Pop.

Saturday, October 27, 2012: Magic Kingdom! I'm hoping this won't be a MNSSHP day, since I'm only planning two MK days and want to catch Wishes. If it is, then I'll try and head over there some other day and watch Wishes from the Poly beach. I've got breakfast planned at Crystal Palace and an early dinner at Pecos.

Sunday, October 28, 2012: Studios! When the daily schedules are released next year, I'll see if Fantasmic is playing. If it is, I might go see it, since I haven't seen it since 2005. If not, no biggie Not like I'm never going back I'm planning on lunch at Sci-Fi (my favorite at DHS) and a CS dinner somewhere in the park, maybe Rosie's or Backlot.

Monday, October 29, 2012: Epcot! I have no real plans for this, aside from rope drop so I can get on Soarin' real quick. I'm not planning on making any ADRs for this day because I want to hit up the F&W booths. If I get hungry later in the day, there are plenty of CS places I can stop at. I also have to call my brother at some point, since this is his birthday.

Tuesday, October 30, 2012: Animal Kingdom! I'm only going to be there in the morning and early afternoon. Not sure where I'm going for lunch, probably Restaurantosaurus. When I'm done, I'm probably going to head back to Pop. I'm trying to plan without hoppers, since this is the only day I'd be using them, maybe to head back to MK for the evening.

Wednesday, October 31, 2012: MK! Halloween! MNSSHP! I'm spending all day at MK, including MNSSHP. I know the party's going to be packed on Halloween, but you know what? I don't care I'm thinking about doing breakfast at CRT, but I'm not sure. I'll also likely do dinner at Liberty Tree, but I may decide to do something else.

Thursday, November 1, 2012: Departure day, so I'll likely just screw around at Pop and take my time packing. Depending on my flight time, I might go have lunch at one of the resorts, but I won't decide that until I have my flight. If I do grab lunch somewhere, it'll either be at the Grand, Yacht Club, or Boardwalk. If I don't have the time, I'll get lunch at Pop or the airport before my flight. It really depends on when my flight leaves and all that.

So that's the plan for now. It might change if Mike decides to come, but it also might change next year when the park schedules come out.

So, I'm about to run out the door go to see DBF, but I just wanted to post a quick update to this.

My sister has told me that she's going to be moving soon, since she can't find a job in her field where she's at and the closest she CAN find is three hours away. So she, her DBF, and my niece are most likely out.

My dad has decided not to take a semester off next fall. There's no way he'd be willing to take two days off to go on vacation. He's also extremely cheap and not willing to pay for his part of the trip. So he's out.

My mom doesn't have the money, since her company is closing several stores and she's concerned that hers will be next. So she's out.

My brother doesn't have any interest anymore, and his girlfriend won't go without him, so they're out.

My uncle has no interest, so he's out.

My grandmother can't travel alone and my aunt has no interest, so they're out.

Basically, this leaves me. Looks like another solo trip If DBF and I are still together next summer, I'm sure he'd come with, but we've only been together a couple of months, so I'm not saying yes or no on him yet.

Because this is now a solo trip, I have firm dates!

You know, I've been in MK on major holidays before. A sold out crowd for a hard ticket event like MNSSHP doesn't compare to peak capacity on a holiday, especially going from a CM to a guest. As a guest, I can just sit and people watch if I need to, not have to worry about getting my work done So I think I'll be all right And I have just under a year to figure out my costume... If Mike comes, he'll likely be Spock again, so I'd probably want to do something sci-fi-ish. If not, I'm not sure if I'll dress up, since I'd be by myself.

The name change didn't affect my sub, I saw it in my UserCP and was wondering if it was another one of those TRs I sub into late at night, when I've had a few tee many glasses of wine! Then I saw it was Dana's and by the title, I gathered that everyone had bailed, but I did have to go back to the first page and re-read to figure it all out.

Your plans look good! On our trip with Arline, we're trying to save a little by not doing hoppers. We don't have the stamina that you do and honestly, I don't think Arline could do two parks in a day. But your start and dawn and stay till close mentality should benefit nicely from these plans.

Yeah, it's kind of good, since I won't be playing tour guide and travel agent to them, but also kind of annoying. I don't mind traveling alone, as you know, but it'd be nice to have someone from my family interested in going to my favorite place on earth

I'm happy with the itinerary I so can't wait to go. I really hope things work out and Mike can come with, since he hasn't been since he was five years old.

Yeah, I like taking people who've never been. When I went to MK for the day with my mom, it was nice because it was MY park, and it was just the two of us and she was willing to hear all the things I had to say about the park (some of which you heard ). I really hope Mike can come with because of that, though, since he hasn't been in 22 years He's hoping he can as well, but we won't know until probably next summer.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! I had planned to go back this year from Oct 3rd - 14th and when the 3rd rolled around, I said "aw man, we'd be leaving for Disney today!" Then all the sudden it was the 15th and I was like "wow if we had gone to Disney we would have come back yesterday!"

It's kind of good and kind of bad....at least I know my July trip will be here before I know it, and then I can start planning for 2013! It will be our 10 year anniversary so we're hoping to stay at BLT with a castle view
