A newbie to your group

Hey all!!!

Well, I just got engaged on Christmas Eve of 2006 and I am planning my wedding for 6/1/2008!!! Oh how I wish it was going to be a Disney wedding - but my fiance would NEVER go for it. Too much money for us and we have a HUGE family that would not be able to attend if we had it in WDW. BUT I do get to have a Disneymoon!!!

For quite some time it was our plan to go to WDW for a few days and then a 7 night disney cruise BUT then Disney went and threw a kink in those plans and is sending the Magic to the West Coast for summer 08. At first I flipped but I have decided that it would be cool to see DL for the first time so we have just flipped our plans to the opposite coast. I am still sad not to be going to WDW but I think it will be cool any way.

So can I be part of this club?? I love that every day I come on the Dis I find a new group of people that I feel part of!

Of course you can! This is the Disney wedding and honeymoon board.. So yep you qualify. Plus you might get lots of ideas for our at home wedding too. Welcome

welcome to the board! the other option is to still go to WDW but have a 3 or 4 day cruise instead. that way you get more time in the parks!

I agree That is what we are doing, we are having a WDW wedding, but even if we weren't we still would have opted to have a WDW honeymoon and a 3 day Disney Cruise. We chose this as neither of us have been to DisneyWorld but we have been to Disneyland several times.

Congratulations--- I did the disney wedding and honeymoon thing and im really glad we did. You will have tons of fun in Disney and the entire thing will be very magical .
