Does anyone know how the Disney Restaurants do their menus on New Years Eve. What I mean is, are they set up for the Holiday or are the menus the every day menu? What brought this up for me was, I looked into getting Ressis at Shulas, and they have an early seating with about a 4 course meal ($100.00) a head. Then they have a later seating with drinks ,etc. So tell me whatcha know!! :smooth:

I am not sure about Shulas, but the park restaurants keep the regular menus. I think a few of the resort restaurants offer some special packages and meals--like the California Grill--but it has been 3 years since I've been there for New Year's Eve.

Sometimes since they expect a very large crowd, the restaurant may present a Fixed Price Menu on Holidays. This helps accomplish a couple things.
Usually the menu is reduced and boiled down to the most popular selections, your one price might include all courses, like appetizer, salad, main course and dessert.
It makes it easier on the server, since the number of selections are limited.
It makes it easier of the chef and cooking staff. There are less items to pre-order, there are less items to cook.
It helps the restaurant run more efficiently and able to handle a very busy night.
