Hey guys :)
We are 23 days away from our trip right now. So close. As much as I want it to come though, I also don't want it to be over. And part of the trip is the excitement of it all those months before.
I also will be starting college as soon as we get back, and that's kind of scary.
Anyway, here's the cast:

Me: Paulina, 18. Bookworm, horse-rider, complete Disney-freak.
I'm always the one planning our vacations. I know best than the rest of my family when it comes to Disney.

Mom: Natalia, 36 (hope she doesn't see this). Lovely mother, loves everything Disney since she was my age, she helps me plan the vacations. It's probably more excited about the trips than the rest of the family (excluding me, of course).

Stepdad: Juan Carlos, 40. He can be absolutely hilarious when he wants to, and other times he might just be the person who complains the most in the entire universe. When he gets going, nothing can stop him, haha. He loves going on vacations and loves Disney, even if he never says so ;)

Sister: Ale, 13 :sad2:. She's on the worst teenage years, the beginning. Most of the time she's insufferable and will yell for everything, but the sweet spot in her can be found from time to time.;) Haha, she's really looking forward to Disney World as well, even if she pretends not to care about anything right now. Gotta love her. After all, she'll never be as embarrassed of the rest of us, again, will she?

Just one of the many many photos she likes to take of herself.

Brother: Jose Pablo, 6 months. ::yes:: The cutest baby ever. He loves his family, but most of all, he loves his dad. One look at him and he'll grin from ear to ear. :confused3 If you don't believe me check out this video: link.

Okay, there we are. That's my family.

So, our plan consists on leaving December 29th (well technically we leave the 30th, but at 2:00 AM, so it's almost the 29th ;)). We need to be at the airport at 11:00 PM or so. We will probably have to take naps that afternoon so we won't be as tired. How terrible are the crowds the first week of January? I mean I know New Years will be a nightmare but how about the rest of the week?

We'll then arrive at the Ft. Lauderdale airport, rent a car and drive to the Orlando Airport. Once there, we'll take the Magical Express to Disney World, and return the car. We're staying 7 nights and 8 days at the All Star Sports.
Next day is the 30th, so it will be terribly crowded.

We're still not sure what we'll do that day. We wanted to be there for the New Years Eve show at Epcot, but problem is, to be sure we'll have a spot there we need to get there pretty early and spend the entire day there so the park doesn't get beyond capacity and we're left out.
And that's fine by us, but this time we're travelling with a 6-month-old baby, so it won't be that simple. Leaving him here is out of the question as we'd probably go crazy, and so would he!
We'll see what happens once we're there.

Does anyone know how the child swap work? I don't fully understand it. :confused3

Okay, so after the 8 days at Disney World, we'll rent a car again and head off to West Gate Vacation Villas for another week. There we'll do our shopping (things are much cheaper in the US than in Costa Rica, which is where we live, so we'll take advantage of that!) and we'll also go to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Which of course includes the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter which I'm dying to go to since I'm just the biggest Harry Potter geek. :rolleyes1

Well, that's about it. I'll be writing my trip report after we get back, so I better take a notebook for writing what we do in the day or else I'll forget.:headache:

Thanks for reading :)

You go to the entrance of the ride and they give you a card. Whole familly stands inline except the one that is watching the baby. Once familly is done ride the person that watch the baby gets to ride and gets to pick one familly member to join then. Some rides you get to walk up the excit other you wait in the fast past line. Usually wait is no longer then 15 min. You can do this all day at rides that have baby swap.
