Can we start a new thread? What do you do? Is the pay decent? How long have you been working for the company etc.? Anyone?

I'll say again that if you live in certain states 1800flowers.com is hiring. They used to have a large call center here, but now have strictly work from home employees for many tasks.

I so wish 1-800-flowers.com hired in MA. Any ideas of something comparable in Massachusetts? I have extensive call center experience, but I would love to find something I could do from home.

ChaCha is like a call center but you answer calls on your phone

ChaCha I make about 400.00 a month pretty easy

HOw many hours are you putting in? I was doing ChaCha, but quit when they changed the pay scale last year because it was taking me too long to make money.

It varies depends on the day but maybe 8-10 but my hubby also helps out when I'm busy

I do KGB, like chacha. I usually average about $2 an hour. Sunday afternoons and evenings are usually pretty busy so yesterday I could only squeeze in 50 minutes but I made $3.50 in that time. Unfortunately, the busy times are evenings and weekends which is my busy time in my personal life. So I try to do an hour here and there, and it does add up over the course of the month. My goal is to do about 30 hours a month, so $60. It pays a bill. :cool1:

For those of us who have free time during the DAY, don't do KGB unless you think it's worth your while to answer people's exam questions for a dime. Me, not so much. I like evenings and weekends when you can keep busy just answering relationship questions, those are my favorites!

I also do Chacha. Not much. I put in *maybe* an hour or two a day and average $100 a month. It's just 'play money' that I didn't have before so it's worth it to me. :thumbsup2

I sell Tastefully Simple. I started at the end of August. I didn't have my first "real" party until Oct and I made about $350 during that month! The work is super easy and fun! I had a party on Saturday that lasted less than 2 hours and made $90! I love working with them because I pick my schedule and do as much work or not as I want!
P.S. the food is really yummy too! :cool1:

I ChaCha too. I was a gen/spec but HATED it and after a year I finally switched to EXP. I love it now. Its an extra $500 a month I didn't have before.

I also run a fabric co-op and have a fabric store on Etsy.

I think for a lot of people working at home is more than one area. When ChaCha gets slow I can focus on my fabric and vice versa.

Starwood Hotels is hiring for work at home call center people. Specifically area codes 508 and 774. If you go to their website and pick available jobs in MA you will find it. they have it also available for Texas, I think. It says it is $9 an hour and a 30-40 hour work week. I applied but haven't heard anything. I saw the ad initially in a local paper.
