A New WDW Resort?

Hi there evrybody,

I don't know if I have got a little bit out of touch, but I took a look at WDW using Google Earth for the first time in a while.

Something caught my eye that I hadn't noticed before. It looks like there is a new resort under construction the the East of the CBR and to the North East of POP.

There are two constructed buildings and a large swimming pool centred around a lake and another building under construction.

To coordinates are 28 21' 29.77''N, 81 32' 18.54''W

Previously this bit if land south of Epcot was always at a low resolution in Google Earth, but it would appear that they have recently updated this area to a much higher resolution.

Does anybody know what this is?

It is Bonnet Creek and it isn't a Disney resort. It is a time share resort by Fairfield.

Oh that's explains it. Thanks for your reply. I didn't realise it was so far into WDW property. It does suprise me that it is in a location this good actually.

It is built on land surrounded on 3 sides by Disney. It is a piece of land that Disney didn't buy.

I don't know if you are interested but part of AKL will become a DVC resort - so expect to see construction started there by next year.
