Once I knew to take the over the door shoe holder from last year, I never really paid any attention to the threads about them so this may or may not be new.

We had gone last year and taken the holder and it was great, but I didn't like having to fill it up and empty it. There are all kinds of holders now with zippers but they are not big enough. I decided to fill my bag at home and then took strips of velcro and placed them at the top of each section. I filled it first because some item need the velcro in just a little different spot. I just roll it up and put it in the suitcase. I didn't have anything spill. I did put it in with our snorkeling gear and water shoes etc. just in case. I decided to leave the majority of stuff in it so it is ready to go for what ever trip we take.

Even when we went to places where it didn't fit over the door, we would just unroll it when we needed it. I've also have a list to check to keep it updated for when things run out. I know that sounds a little strange. LOL. We are leaving for a trip up to a friend's cabin and it's all set.

Also, I saw other people putting message centers on their doors. It looked like there was a large group and they had magnetic note pads stuck to their doors letting others know where they were. I know you can use walkie talkies. We had them and kept forgetting to use them.

I don't know if that one was new either, but I hadn't seen it yet.

Have fun!! I hope we'll get to go again soon.

Love the idea of the magnetic message center. With my DD getting the sign out privilage this time I think it will be a must!!
Thanks!
