A new plan...need tips

After struggling with WW and talking extensively with my doctor's they have come to the conclusion that WW might not be the right diet for my body. So now they are suggesting I try the South Beach Diet and I'm wondering what the differences are and is it do-able? I know WW was very doable for me and I was comfortable with it. Any tips would be appreciated.
 
No tips but I have tried the SBD Chicken ceaser wrap meal and it was so good. I was also so full. I also have the SBD snack bar which is just as good
 
South Beach is going to be a lot like doing Core on WW. Its focused on healthy foods- low fat meat, limited fats, fruits, veggies and high fiber carbs.

If WW was not working for you, I'm guessing there was a reason for it: either you were not eating enough, not measuring foods (portions too small or too big), or not getting a good balance.

The nice thing about WW compared to SBD, is the support at meetings. I would try core for a couple weeks and see how you do on that. Or do a combo of the two. Read SBD and Core. See how you can work them together to get the balance and support.
 
I just started the SB diet on Monday and I must say that I LOVE it! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 DF and I have already lost some weight and we feel so much better. I bought a book called "The South Beach Diet, Good Fats, Good Carbs guide". It is a really good book.

They give you a complete list of foods too. It is wonderful...I have been eating some Atkins shakes, omlettes and hard boiled eggs, chicken, fish, alot of vegetables, low fat cheese and beans (legumes). I feel very satisfied...and at night we have some sugar free jello or sf ice pops. I do not feel deprived at all...well maybe a glass of wine! :) And after the first 2 weeks, you can start adding some fruit and whole wheat items...bread, fruit.

It really is great! I was getting frustrated on WW and this seems the better fit for me.
