A New November Thread!!

Hi all!! I'm sitting here thinking about how excited I am about my November trip and how far away it seems to be. I started a November thread a while back but wanted to start a fresh new one! Any other November trip planners out there who are a little sad because it seems so far away? Anyone who has been in November and knows what it is like? I have only been in June and want less crowds and cooler temps! Let's talk!!!

I just booked our first family vacation for Nov 26-Dec 2nd. I am so excited! We live here so we go to the parks alot but we've never stayed at the resorts. There's really no telling how the weather will be- it could be anywhere from 40s-50s in the morning to 70s-80s in the afternoon. More than likely though unless we get a strong cold front it will be 60s in the am and 70s-80s in the pm. Beautiful weather!! I'd def. pack some lightweight jackets or sweaters as well as tshirts and shorts.

We'll be there at the same time in Nov! It seemed so miserably far away that I somehow planned a 4 day trip this month! We leave in 19 days!!
Anyways, in answer to your question, we were also there this past Nov. and had a great time. We felt crowd levels were low, and it was very laid back. We always were at the parks by opening, which helped us get on everything we wanted with little to no wait. The weather was gorgeous-70+ every day, no rain at all. It only started to get busy towards the end of the week (Fri-Sat), every other day was totally manageable. Let me know if you want to chat some more!

We will be there Nov. 4-12 staying at the POP. We originally planned for December but decided to change it hoping for warmer weather. We were there the beginning of Dec. 2004 and it was COLD. I'm hoping for atleast high 60's to low 70's during the day.

We will also be there November 26-December 2!!! Looks like I'll see ya all there!! We have our hotel in line, DVC members, staying at WLV in a 2 B.R. lock off unit!! I feel very lucky to have that, it was close, being that they didn't have one of the nights I wanted available, but it came through for me YESTERDAY!!! Now we have the whole week!! We also have our park hoppers, I went to Disney last October and bought 10 day passes with no expiration, so we now have 6 days left on those.!! Called Monday and got tickets for MVMCP amd LTT ressies at 5:20 for Nov 28th!!! HMMM... What else can I plan?? Maybe some more dining, but we have to wait until 180 day mark!!! Oh, and I think we want to do the hayride at Fort Wilderness as well, and the bonfire. Planning is alot of FUN!!!! Just as F.Y.I., we were in Disney last October, week of October 16th and it was DOWNRIGHT HOT!!!! I'm talking 95 degrees, don't know if that will be a good gauge for November or not, I HOPE it's hot enough to get a couple of days in at the pool!! Can't Wait!!!

Going down November 1st! And on top of that my tax refund came yesterday, so the trip can be booked and paid in full!

Allegracristina, thanx and i just realized how we are on the same planning track. have u stayed at the poly before? this is our first time staying there. we'll be at the Pop for May for a quickie weekend trip for star wars, my DH2B is a really big fan of star wars plus disney and we were already going through disney withdrawals so we decided to go ahead and plan a trip for May. We couldn't wait till Nov. to go to disney.

Doing Fort Wilderness Cabins Nov 1-6. Very excited to be returning to the mouse. Has been nearly 11 years since Disneymoon at Shades of Green.
This will be first time children (8yob, 6yob, 4yob, 16mog) will feel the MAGIC. But we are working on the to make it more common in the future!

We too will be there Nov 25 - Dec 2 at Old Key West. We are wait listing for VWL, but OKW is amazing too. As long as I will be in WDW it really doesn't matter which DVC I'm staying at. Have to wait another week or two to finish booking since we are waiting on two of our DD friends to see if they are coming with us. Don't forget your lime green!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait, will be our 17th trip to the World but first for MVMCP.....we are staying at pop nov 24&25th....then moving to BCV for 26th thru Dec 5th can't wait ( we decided to go a little early and BCV was booked for the extra 2 days

We are going 11/23-12/02. Staying the first 2 days at CBR and then moving over to the AKL. This will be our second time going during this time of year. I love seeing the Christmas decorations. We are doing MVMCP on the 28th, may do another night. They didn't have the Osbourne lights the year we went so we will be seeing those.

The weather can be a bit unpredictable. Most days it was nice and comfortable and other days it was a bit cooler than I would have preferred. I would suggest dressing in layers so when it starts off cool in the morning you can take one layer off and be comfortable the rest of the day.
