Thanks for the tip! I just ordered a set for our upcoming trip. What a fun way to add a little peace of mind. Now if only they arrive before we leave ;)

You'll have to let us know what they are like when you get them. I am really curious to know what they are like.

The whole time I was reading the article I thought  they sounded like something perfect for going to WDW. Plus, everyone is always looking for new ideas on how to mark their children in away that it is more of a part of them and not just something on their clothes.

Hope you have a good trip! :flower:

Will they hold up to multiple applications of sunscreen, and sweat?

Looks interesting. Would love to hear a review :)

I would like to hear how they are too! I jut don't know about writing on my child with a marker...

Um, if you have to write your phone # on the kid with a marker anyway, why would you pay $10 for this product? Why not just write everything with a marker?

Maybe I'm too much of a cheapskate...but I just put labels inside my kids' clothes...

OTOH, if I had some spare cash, this is the device I'd spring for:

but alas, it's not shipping yet...sigh.

You're not actually writing on your child's skin itself. You apply the temporary tattoo to your child's skin and then write on the tattoo. Then, when the tatoo comes off, the phone number comes off with it.

That being said, maybe we should just write our phone number right on our kids. As much fun as DW and I have trying to remove the "temporary tattoos" that DS4 likes to give himself (as well as our home's walls) with permanent marker from time to time, I'm sure that a phone number in permanent marker would hold up to sunscreen and sweat.

The website said that sunscreen may cause it to come off. If you're putting it where the public can't see it anyway (which is what I'd do!) then the skin doesn't need sunblocked anyway. (I'd put it on an upper arm or tummy I think - In any case, this would need to be on a child that was old enough to point to the sticker if necessary. I guess on a younger child it would need to be in plain sight.

It says it holds up in water - so I'd say sweat is no problem.

You can always buy the tatoo paper and make your own too! Make your own design (like Mickey's head!) preprint the phone number and then you won't have to use a marker. (I did a web search for tatoo paper and quite a few items came up - most of these are designed to come off in water though - which could be good and bad. Easier to get off when you want them off, but requires more applications after the kiddo(s) have bath time)

Ohhhhhh...that makes more sense to me. Sometimes I'm just a little :confused3
