Very nice web site! I had no idea that hostas came in so many different varieties. I have hostas in my yard and they grow very well, like "weeds". Is it true that if you plant them closer together they won't grow as large? I think I gave mine a bit too much room and they get very large every year. I wish they'd stay smaller. I'll have to do some research to see if there's anything I can do with them.

Hi SeaSpray! Sounds like you have a green thumb! Some of my hostas are a little too crowded (I need to do more dividing), and I find that it prevents them from being displayed in all their glory.

My apologies to you, Danny Van Eechaute, for not welcoming you to the Flower & Garden board before now, especially since you've travelled so far to join us!
