A new card?

Is anyone else in dire need of a new member card? Aside from the fact I can't read my member number, the whole front face has just peeled off. I suppose I could use that lifetime supply of VALID stickers to hold it on...

Seriously -- has anyone recently requested a new card? WIll they print one, and will it cost me? This card has had it!

Yes, they will give you a new card and I doubt there is any money involved, if so, I would imagine it is a small amount. I have mine from 92 and it is still going strong.

I asked MS once when I called, mentioning how it is getting hard to read my member number, and they sent me a new one with the embossed front like a credit card. There was no charge and they replaced both mine and DH's.

We did the same thing back in January. I was talking to MS and asked if I could get new cards because I couldn't read the numbers on mine. Got new ones with the embossed numbers a few weeks later.

Actually, the card from 1992 that Gail refers to IS an embossed card. Mine separated (the top layer came off the back), then MS sent me one of those blue things with the gold print - the Gold has worn off and I can only read the numbers if the light is "just right". But I don't physically use the card much anymore as the Disney Stores don't carry a lot of adult merchandise - so I'll keep this one until it falls apart.

They gladly replace cards that can't be read. It could take several weeks to arrive but it will eventually reach you.
