net nanny? bump

Net Nanny is one of those parental security programs that came with one of dd's laptop. Grandson setup laptop & started installing programs that came with it before his mom even looked at it. Now we can't find any of the paperwork & don't know the admin password to uninstall NN. She has another laptop & desktop, but I have been using that particular laptop since mine was stolen last year. So around 10 or 11pm til about 7am you can't get online. And certain websites during the day either. Grandson is 17 & he could kick himself for installing that program, lol.

Willow - Look online for the contact info and email or call! There is usually some way to retrieve what you need. I'm sure you are not the first people to be in this situation

Right now it's mostly the little kids that use that one anyway so keeps them from 'stumbling' upon some sites they don't need to be on. I mostly use my work computer rolleyes1) til I replace mine at home.
