A new board devoted to exchanges? (Webmasters: Pls read)

Thanks for all the responses on this thread

Still being a little unused to the 'dynamics' of the CB, I have to admit to not having considered things like how having a separate board for exchanges might cut down the participants (not a good thing obviously). I can see that there are very good reasons why a separate board would not be the good idea it seems at first!

I feel that Disneymad made an excellent suggestion, and I would gladly keep an index up-to-date (although now is not the best time for me to start one as we go away on Sunday for three weeks!)

Perhaps if the webmasters would consent to this index being made 'sticky' so that it was always at the top? That way, ppl looking for a particular exchange thread could simply pop into the index and click on a link, rather than scanning through the pages....

Hmm... I certainly feel this may well be a very good solution to all the points raised on this thread, what do *you* all think?
