Have you ever had the really fabulous, odd, experience of being somewhere in WDW and find yourself completely alone? I had the odd experience at MK. It was one of those nights where the park was open until 1am. I went into one of the bathrooms, and I had the place to myself. A bit creepy. That same night we had some fantastic pictures in front of the castle - no one in the background. My fave pic ever!

During MNSSHP last year, my boys and DH went on Space Mountain and I went on Buzz. There was nobody as far as I could see behind or in front of me. Definitely a bit creepy. Of course I could actually see where my laser was since it was the only one, so that was nice. LOL.

A couple years ago when my daughter was doing here DCP term and working at Splash Mountain, I went to see her at work and rode it late that night. Not only did I have my own log, but there was no one in any of the logs in front or behind me. DD was running the controls from behind the scenes that night. When the log got to the part with the last little waterfall after the big drop and before the showboat finale, she turned on that effect so I'd get a good extra splash. She thought that was funny

My kids are younger / needed sleep and my fam decided to ditch me for a MK Disney After Hours event last year, so I trucked on solo.

While I'm not used to touring alone and that was a bit of a weird feeling, but if I'm being honest, being in a mostly empty park and doing whatever I wanted to do was quite glorious! You really pick up on so many things (sights, sounds, noises) in a park like MK when you have the time to stop and pay attention.

When I use the more or less secret bathroom behind the imagination pavilion, I end up being alone more times than running into other people. It's a nice quiet moment amongst the crowds.
Also, deep within the fountains near the exit of the Figment ride, you can usually find a quiet bench where you don't run into others for at least a few minutes.

Several years ago, during an evening EMH, we were the only ones going on Pirates. There were three of us, but that loooong queue, and the creepy voices, made it really spooky. Until we got to the Yo Ho song in the ride I kept feeling like something was going to jump out at us!

I had an elevator on TOT to myself one year. I always go left at the split to get to the elevators and I was in the middle of the pack coming out of the viewing room. Everyone in front of me went right, I did my usual and went left, figuring people behind me would follow. No one did!!! I got to the loading area and no one else was there. The CM put me on the ride and sent me off by myself. That ride is creepy alone but so much fun!!!

We just experienced this! We were at WDW right before Dorian hit, and changed our one day ticket to the Saturday before Labor day since we were flying out on Sunday. We arrived at RD and most folks were heading to SWGE. We opted to hit ToT and Toy Story Land first. It was surreal walking down Sunset Blvd when it was empty, and being in TSL with almost nobody around.
