Weather ~ dry and mainly cloudy 60*F
A Merry Mickey Christmas INDEX
It was nice to wake up to sunny blue skies this morning although they didn't last long, you can see the clouds forming in this photo.

We didn't hurry this morning and after some breakfast set off for Epcot. The Christmas topiaries were very cute.

We'd treated ourselves to a Leave a Legacy tile on our last trip so next we looked for that, luckily I'd written the reference number down so it didn't take long to find.

We did lots of shopping in Mouse Gear with the 20% off before noon discount and got fastpasses for the afternoon for Soarin' then braved ourselves to ride Mission Space for the first time! I had only plucked up the courage to ride this after reading Lizzy Lemon's report and even then I only plucked up the courage to ride the green! Well, we all loved it, I can't believe that I had been too afraid to try it before

We then headed over to Canada for lunch at Le Cellier, stopping to listen to this gospel choir on the way.

My photo sadly doesn't do these gardens justice but they really are beautiful. I'm hoping to see the original Butchart Gardens one day.

Epcot had seemed quiet today but I think that's because everyone was in here! Made me realise how lucky I'd been to get an ADR ~ I'd tried for every day before our cruise without any success but for some reason when I logged on 90 days before today I'd had my choice of times! I reckon everyone had thought they'd be too stuffed from Christmas lunch!

We were seated quite quickly and perused the menu. Seeing as it was holiday season the lunch menu had been replaced with the more expensive dinner one (ouch!!) but they were very accommodating with the girls as there wasn't much they fancied.
Samantha chose a spicy chicken and chipotle sausage to start

whilst Bryan and I ordered the Appetizer Trio to Share which consists of tomato stack, lump crab, and woo hoo!!! the infamous Canadian cheddar cheese soup. Our server brought plates for everyone so we could all share.

I'm not a huge cheese fan and tend to avoid it seeing as it can give me migraines but thought I couldn't dine here and not try it. Well, what more can I say except that it truly lived up to its name ... it was delicious!!
For their main course Samantha, Danielle and Francesca all had roast chicken and fries with a shared side of onion rings

Bryan chose the coffee-rubbed Kansas City strip steak with mash

whilst I had the filet mignon with mushroom risotto and we shared a side of asparagus.

Mmmmmm the risotto was lush.

For dessert Bryan had mont blanc

I was still on my quest to find the best creme brulee so opted for the maple one here and it didn't disappoint

Samantha chose s'mores

whilst Danielle and Francesca had really cute chocolate mousses.

I can see why this is such a difficult ADR to get as the food really was yummy. I'd definitely choose to come here again.
We went to watch O Canada and had a good look round the shop where I bought yet another dream catcher

then it was back to Future World where we got a fastpass for Test Track, used our Soarin' one, in the front row yay!!

Well, I really enjoyed it and couldn't believe I'd been such a wimp before!
We went to the Art of Disney to see if they had any of Thomas Kinkade's Disney Dreams in open edition petite prints but unfortunately these hadn't been printed in this edition but we had a lovely time looking round in there and Samantha chose a couple of prints for her room.
Our fastpass time was now here so we rode Test Track then drove back to the hotel, it was about 7:30pm when we got there. Nobody wanted anything to eat as we were all still stuffed from lunch so Bryan and I brought a couple of cocktails from the bar downstairs up to our room and we all watched Shrek 2 on the TV.
