i have asthma slightly, it is usually worse during the summer in uk when it is HUMID. what will it be like in orlando? any other sufferers help much appreciated.

I like you are asmatic but on the nine occasions that I have been to florida I have not Had a problem .The heat is different out there. The worst time is when you get of the plane from aircoditioned comfort to the heat in Olando it does take you breath away but then you soon get use to it. Just Remember to take your inhaler with you .might see you out there going in 13 days time.
good luck youre going at the right time of year. Not to hot:smooth:

:D I agree.

Both DD and I are asthmatic and have never had a problem.

DD had a bad attack of croup, unfortunately, the very first trip she came on and ended up in ER at 5am on our last day, but that was nothing to do with the asthma. She was fine, though, once it was sorted. She had suffered several attacks over here, so was nothing triggered over in Florida.

I suffer from sniffy nose syndrome because of hayfevers, allergies, etc - and never have a problem over there:)

Both my DD's have suffered with asthma in the past , but never had a problem in florida even in the middle of summer, I was told humidity actually helps asthma sufferers so maybe your problems in the summer were a reaction to something other than humidity, pollen and pollution are both possible causes that are worse in summer.

Thanks to all of you, that has put my mind at rest. we can't wait only four days to go!
