Wendy, Hi! I know you from MDC too. I forgot my login and had to get a new one, but wow this trip report has given me floods of tears good cleansing healing tears. Yes, I think you should write up this story and send it to MDC mag, and Disney. People need to know what a wonderful thing GKTW and Disney is doing here. This CM, Peter is the greatest CM of all CM's ever ever ever!!!!! He needs to win the CM of the year award. And the two CMs who arranged it all, OMG, I would just hug them if I could through the computer screen. Holding on to the bars and calling out for to get Michael a new feather, how magical, how just what Peter Pan would do. That is why Disneyworld is going to be my favorite themepark, I don't even care if we don't get to see any other themepark. I know DW will be the best day of the trip for our dd too. It is so helpful to know what to expect when we go on our wish trip (not that I would expect what happened to you to happen to our little one), it just seems like the stars all aligned for your little guy to have the best day ever. Wendy, I am so happy for you.

YEAH!!!! More TR. You were busy busy busy last night . Thanks for all the extra info! We are looking forward to feeding the dolphins too! BTW...If I am counting correctly you have had 4 banana splits so far, and some of them for breakfast! LOL, you go girl! I LOVE banana splits too Besides, if you have nuts on them you are encompasing 3 of the of the four food groups...dairy, protein and fruit; garnish it with a wafer cookie and you have grains too! It has to be good for you if it has all 4 food groups in it!

Mental Note: Buy self a pair of jeans a size larger so I can eat banana splits for breakfast and still ride home from GKTW in comfort.

Sorry about your yucky couple of days. As you know...when the kiddos are done (and frankly this includes the parents)...they really are done!

Side note---it took us 5 or 6 washings to get the goop out!!!

I finally was able to get that goop out while we were in the pool! I just kept swimming over to her and scrubbing. LOL It really sticks in the hair and on everything else, doesn't it?! But it was so worth it! She loved it!

A few. I noticed that after the trip. Thankfully I did get a few pictures taken with the photopass! LOL I have to be the photographer otherwise we'd have no pictures! I really do love taking them though.

Hi fellow MDCer! He is awesome and we are planning on writing something up for WDW to acknowledge this guy. He was just awesome and the two CMs who made it happen were great as well! I hadn't thought about writing something up for MDC mag but perhaps I'll approach them. It would be good to get as much publicity for GKTW. Its amazing I had never heard of them but they are incredible. The guy who founded it wrote a book and it really is amazing how he got from Holocost victim to founder of GKTW. And GKTW is all through corporate sponsors yet you don't see much of that. Sure, the cups at the Ice Cream Palace say "Friendly's" and of course during the parties you see stuff from the big theme parks but there are sooooo many sponsors and you don't see it anywhere at the resort!

Oh, yes. Make sure you bring your "fat pants". I don't even know how many banana splits (they are the best for bf, btw ) I ended up eating. I suppose on some of the splits I actually had a ice cream shake or just plain ice cream though.

Here's some extra info for you. I forgot to mention that on Wednesday I realized I could borrow a camcorder from GKTW (every day until 24 hours before departure). Sony apparently provides and upkeeps them for FREE for the Wish Families. Isn't that awesome! Then you get little DVDs to take home and you can do video and picture interchangeably. They give you everything you need including extra battery packs. I picked one up this day to take with us for our Meet and Greet with Peter Pan Thursday.

I'm thoroughly enjoying your trip report, and can't wait to see how everything goes with your next meet and greet. I had a nephew with cerebral palsy who only made it to 14 months old and I have a niece who is autistic and is now 16, so I can totally relate to some of what you have to go through. Thanks for the info on the Sony DVC's - Digital Video Cameras, not Disney Vaction Clubs . You had written that Sony had contributed the loaner camcorders once before and I was immensely releived to hear it. My little JVC is an antique and can be tempermental, and I have been eyeing (translated "lusting after") the Sony camcorders, so it will be great to test drive them while we are there. We are still bringing the JVC as a back up, but will rely on the Sony for the important stuff.

My DH has been emailing me departure schedules from work...things like, charge both digital camera batteries, vacuum the car on Friday afternoon...set up the portable DVD's the night before, park the Honda outside, and pull the Suburban into the garage so that, if it rains, we don't have to get wet on our departure...LOL...as if I wasn't already obsessing about all that already. The amazing part is that his car is usually the one blessed with garage space, not mine. Wow...he is getting excited about the trip!

I am glad you have some good things to say about Universal. I have been a little worried about the family friendliness of that park. We absolutely have to go though, for DS8 aka Spiderboy. We have ADR's with the wall crawler himself, and Cat in the Hat too, but I have been afraid that with all the thrill rides it will only be fun for DH, me and my two oldest...leaving the little guys DS8 , DS7 and DS5 , bored and frustrated. Sooo...if tomorrow is a TR on the MK with PP (I feel like Robin Williams in Good Morning Vietnam with all those abbreviations), then the next day is Universal, right? When did you, or did you, do Epcot? Along with the GKTW banana splits, I am looking forward to some munching at Epcot too.

Thought I would pop in over here and say hi. I love reading your trip report. It reall helps me to know what to expect. I love that we can borrow the Sony cam. I have to agree with 5dwarves, my old JVC has about had it also! I love the fact that we can get ice cream all the time. Unfortunately my DD isn't into ice cream that much. She will eat ice cream sandwiches but is not too hip on cones or even dishes of ice cream. oh well, more for me!! Keep up the good work, can't wait to read more!

I have just finished reading this TR after being directed here by a friend and I absolutely love what you have so far. The pictures you have of Michael and Peter Pan are just so precious. I had tears in my eyes on Page 10 when you mentioned meeting that other family and all Michael wanted was to ride over and over again and I just wanted to give you and your family a big hug I even read it out to my fiance and we both said how you said it just perfectly, I almost lost it
