Now it was time to catch the boat at the International Gateway to the Dolphin for dinner at BlueZoo, Of course we had to stop in the Lounge. I had seen so may pictures of it I just had to see for myself and I was not disappointed. I had their signature drink a kind of blueberry, cosmo type thing and Joe had his usual beer. Dinner was exquisite and our server couldn't have been nicer. Now what I've been waiting months and months for is about to happen. Our very first Illuminations Cruise. I was so excited I could hardly contain myself. We walked over to the YC (oh my aching knees) and sat at the Lighthouse. As pre-arranged and exactlly on time, parrotheadlois and her DH and Autumngirl and her DH and neice appear. Now I know this is really going to happen. They were such nice people who made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Our Captain (whose name escapes me at the moment) was as sweet as she could be and we were off. This was fantastic. I don't think I will ever be able to watch the fireworks any other way again. I can still close my eyes and envision it all. Well no Sox to night and no Bob Jackson so we went to the lounge at the Boardwalk Inn for a drink and sat out on the porch in rocking chairs. Long day and time for beddy-bye.
