Wow, I never thought there'd be a thread for this already, lol.
We just got off our first
DCL (and only 2nd cruise ever, first being over 10 years ago) a couple weeks ago - the 3 nt. Bahamas cruise on the Dream and we haven't booked this one just yet, but I'm 99% sure we will be doing it soon. Stupid me didn't take advantage of the onboard booking

It was just such a short cruise and I kept meaning to get over there, but just didn't have even a minute to squeeze it in.
My kids are ODS (9.5) and YDD (5.5). I wasn't sure how they'd feel about a cruise so that's why we started with the 3 night, with 6 nights at the parks first and O!M!G! they LOOOVED it! LOVE! Overnight DH went from rolling his eyes at my Disney fanatacism to becoming a DIE-HARD
DIsney cruise fan, lol. He was SO, SO impressed with the ship, I can't even express how impressed he was. He wants to never go anywhere else again, ever, except on disney cruises.
So I originally was thinking about the 5 nt caribbean on the Wonder next april because I wanted 5 nights, and I wanted something other than the Bahamas since we just did it, but then the announcement about the Magic refurb came out and I had to change my mind when I saw the new slides b/c my kids will LOVE those. And I think they will be disappointed with the slides on the Wonder after having been on the Dream, kwim? I just wish it was 5 nights instead of 4.
Next year we will forego a WDW vacation because it will be easter week and no way in heck am I fighting those crowds. But I might add on a couple nights after the cruise at US since we didn't get to US this year.
Oh my lord, I'm so excited to find this thread.

I've descended into severe PDD (Post Disney Depression) since being back and this might help.
