We arrived at Disney World on Sunday February 6th.
I was so excited about getting there.
We were checking in to the Animal Kingdom's Kidani villas. I knew something wasn't right about checking in after standing there waiting for more than 5 minutes.
As a DVC member I am used to just waitinga few moments and then having the CM say "welcome home". It was NOT SAID! The room packet was NOT DONE. The room keys were NOT DONE. They parking pass was NOT DONE!
I was now very upset.
Then the CM asked for my credit card.
I said, "No".
She said we have to have it on file.
I said NO.
She then said that I have to check out.
I said no I don't. I am a DVC member staying on my points. I have never had to check out.
She got upset with me and went to the Concierge and she said it wasn't manditory, just simply requested.
The CM helping me was not happy to hear that. She then has to look at a map to tell me how to get to my room. Most CM's know the layout of the hotel. This CM did not.
She told us to got to the completely opposite of the hotel. I MEAN THE OTHERSIDE from where we were supposed to be.
I had to call Disney from the hotel to get someone to help tell us where to go.
We had to lug everything back to the car. Drive to the other side of the hotel to the very last elevator on the completely otherside. UGH!
The upside: We had a nice view of some animals and a blocked view of the pool.
to be continued...
