GGRRRRRR, I am so sick of ABC, if it weren't for their Wed night comedies I think I would boycott the whole stinking network!

They are canceling Flash Forward and Better Off Ted!

I really enjoy FF and still watch even after they gave it a 3 month break and stuck it in a crappy time slot, I mean really 8pm on Thursday!

As far as Better Off Ted, I thought that was a smart and funny show, IMO it would fit in perfect on Wed nights to fill out the comedy block!

With Lost ending, I will only be watching ABC two nights a week, Sunday for Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters, and Wed.

They need to start giving shows a chance to build an audincince and not take them off the air for months and then make you search for the show when it does come back on.

ABC has had some really great shows that they have just canceled, Life on Mars and Samantha Who come to mind right away!

Uggghhh I am just so ticked off at Always Be Canceling right now!

I'm not surprised about Flash Forward. I think they were hoping it would pick up the "Lost" audience. But, honestly, I think a lot of the fans of Lost are looking for some downtime for their brains now. If they had held onto Flash Forward for at least one full season after Lost was finished, it may have had a better chance. But, after wracking my brain for 6 seasons for Lost, I had a hard time devoting time to Flash Forward. Seemed like a good enough show, though, just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

They did give FF a chance- Thu night at 8 is not a bad slot, its a lead in for GA. FF sucked, that's why it got cancelled. All the action on that show is the actors jumping to conclusions. Also Joseph Finnes was stinking it up on the acting front.

I guess there is no reason to watch the 4-5 episodes I have on the dvr of FF - no reason to do so.

And this is why I try to never watch a show until it's been on the air a couple of seasons. I really like both of these shows so, of course, those two get the axe.

It's too bad, Better Off Ted was one of the few comedies that was smart AND funny.

That always happens to me too! And I was one of the few watching FF--it wasn't great, but it was interesting.

They weren't thinking the show(s) were going to make it from the start... Or else why would they force them onto a 3 month hiatus where those who were watching them quit due mainly to forgetting about them? Sure people have DVRs but if they're like me, they may or may not actually WATCH what they recorded....

I have never heard of either of these shows! :confused3

The problem is they never give the shows a chance to catch on! Of course a show is going to lose ratings if you keep taking it off the air and then airing it on a different night and time.

I don't know about those shows, but we were dismayed that ABC cancelled Pushing Daisies midway through its second season. I think the execs at ABC must have too much time on their hands, and keep wanting to mess with the schedule. They really lose viewers that way.

Sorry, Missy. I'll take the rap for this one. And I promise to never, ever watch a show in its first season again. :rotfl:

I gave FF a real chance, but never really got "into" it. DH watched it last night and fell asleep mid-show.

ABC is ridiculous with their cancellation policies. They cancelled Pushing Daisies and Life on Mars WAY too quickly.

I'm waiting to hear that they're cancelling "The Middle" any day now.

I really enjoyed flash forward...I had a feeling it would be gone though. At least fringe is still around.

I saw one episode of Flash Forward, and was looking forward to seeing another, then at the end of the show the advertisement said tune in to catch a new episode in one month  I can look forward to it for a week, but after one month I'm not going to have a clue when its on.

Pushing Daisies, Life on Mars, and Flash Forward all tempted fate by being too far out of the mainstream. Shows like that almost always fail.

The problem with The Middle is it's just not very good. It gives deja vu of Malcolm in the Middle, a show I loathed. OF course, given the show's title, this connection is probably as designed.

FF has been sitting on TiVo for ages thanks to a conflict with Vampire Diaries.

This is really unfortunate. Two quality shows will be gone :sad2:. I enjoyed them both.
