Hello! I have been "lurcking" out here for quite awhile but never posted until now. You guys have the best info! We will be at WDW for Christmas this year and have the dining plan. We are going to the Candlelight Processional on Christmas Day and have CP reservations at the Coral Reef. I am trying to figure out if it would be better to use the 2 TS credits for this or pay OOP. I am totally confused. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Wanted to say welcome also. I guess for me I would use the DP and then just pay OOP at a CS/TS somewhere to get things to even out. Let us know how it is I havn't been there in a few years.

My question would be, do you have ADR's to use up the 2 TS credits if you don't use them and instead pay OOP? It wouldn't make sense to me to not use credits I have. If you have more TS ADR's than you have credits than it may be a good idea. I would check the menus on allearsnet.com and see the cost of what I might order. If it added up to near the cost of the 2 credits (about $70 per adult, I think) than I would use the credits. If not, I would consider paying OOP - as long as I was going to use the credits somewhere else. Hope this makes sense.

Do you have the Candlelight Processional package? If so then I believe you have already "paid" for dinner. Mine was pre-paid. Then you wouldn't need to use your credits at all. I understand that the CP package can be paid with dinning plan credits, but wouldn't you have already done that? If they charged your credit card already for the CP package you are all set, no more payment is needed.

Candlelight Processional is wonderful, and it will be even more special seeing it on Christmas day!
