For future readers, my experience has been that most CMs on the attractions with a moving walkway were happy to lend a steady hand. I rode Haunted Mansion and the People Mover multiple times, and a CM was always happy to offer a hand on and off the ride.

I used to walk with a cane-I'm predominantly in my manual chair with dh now.

When my legs and feet were slightly mote functional -I rode frozen on my own (long story with fast passes)
And I really struggled trying to exit the ride; I was actually on my knees...another guest came to my rescue-
No cms came along.
