A little look back from last year

In the spirit of Halloween (get it? spirit?) VMK has treated you to a new look on Main Street. We also added the Tomorrowland® Arcade, the Haunted Mansion area, and the VMK Esplanade. What do we have up our sleeves next? How about a brand new game for the Tomorrowland® Arcade? The next addition is Blast in Space, an arcade-style game where you pilot the ship and control the blasters. Complete all 16 levels and win a Space Suit! It's out of this world.
Secrets Revealed
This week staff members share more of their top tips for fun in VMK:
1. By now you know you can score a Deep Sea Diving Suit in the new Tomorrowland® Arcade. But did you know the Suit is not tradable, or where to get the Helmet?
2. See if you can find Donald Duck. Hint: He's hiding someplace on Main Street
3. Some hauntingly cool room furniture is available in the Emporium. Get yours before it disappears.
4. Furniture can be stacked to give height and depth to your room design. Play with items to see how they interact.
5. When you're stuck for an idea for a game or how to decorate a room for "maximum wow", check out what others are doing. Scope out the Popular Guest Rooms as well as your friends' rooms, then try some ideas of your own. Soon you'll have others copying you!
6. Do you know where the crypt in the Haunted Mansion area leads? Step inside and click around .. you'll find it!
7. Some of the coolest bits of clothing and furniture can only be gotten by completing in-Park Quests.
8. Can't figure something out? Look for Players whose names start with CL_ These are Community Leaders, and they're here to help you.
Event News
The VMK Haunted Maze brought VMK Players the chance to mix with new peeps and see some really awesome guest rooms. As with any good Haunted House, there were good and not-so-good surprises. Were we set upon by poltergeists? Did some mischief-maker from the other side of the screen try to wreak havoc on the maze? We're not sure, but we do know that the Maze would not have been anywhere near as awesome without the help of dedicated and talented Community Leaders who spent hours creating rooms for the maze. While all of the Community Leaders who helped out are greatly appreciated, the VMK Staff would like to extend a special 'thank you' to CL_Enderz, CL_Nedakh and CL_Poseidon whose steady hands at the turnstile and warm wit made the long lines move quickly.
