Hey guys! Just wanted some fresh thought to help me.
Ok here's the deal. I need lines for being Mary Poppins at a public event. This is a loong way away (almost a year, but still I always procrastinate) Can any of you think of some good lines if a kid comes up and asks me something like
"Where's Bert?" or something to that effect! :confused3

Maybe you can find some useful words from the lyrics or phrases from this site:

http://www.fpx.de/fp/Disney/Lyrics/MaryPoppins.html

Or you could ask the kids if they can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious then respond with Of course, you can say it backwards, which is dociousaliexpilisticfragicalirupus, but that's going a bit too far, don't you think? I remembered that's what she said in the movie so I looked it up for you and double checked.

Maybe watch the movie, too. :teeth:

GL! :wizard:

Ok thank you for replying! You've given me another reason to watch the movie again! THANK YOU!!! :goodvibes

Ok I thought of some can you see MP saying this?

Kid: Where's Bert, Mary Poppins?
Mary: How kind of you to ask J****! My friend Bert is out, and tonight he's a chimneysweep, so he'll be covered in soot from his head to his toes!

Kid: Mommy Look it's Mary Poppins!
Mother: Yes, I know dear! Would you like to say hi?
Kid: Yeah! (walks up to me) Hi Mary!
Mary: Well hello there! How are you this evening?
Kid: Fine! Um...(mother whispers something into ear) Oh! How are you?
Mary: Quite frankly I'm Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Thank you for asking.

How about Bert couldn't be here ..Uncle Alfred(I think that's his name) was having one of those tea parties again and Bert needed to help get him down. Or the Admiral needed his chimney swept. Mary Poppins at epcot asked my kids if they were having a super......(you know the word!) day. She also signed her name by drawing an umbrella on the capital "P" poppins. If I can come up with anything else I'll post.
Hope this helps!!

Well... my DD actually asked that question and Mary Poppins said:

"Oh, dear, thank you for asking... but, Hubert is on HOLIDAY... you know, being a chimneysweep is hard work!"

Hope that gives you another answer! :wave2:
