Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if it is widely known, but i wanted to share something that i took advantage of on my trip may 9th-16th.
It turns out that each resort has a limited number of wheelchairs available FOR FREE at the resort. The only stipulation is that you return it along with the lock and key by midnight the day of your departure.
With the layout of port orleans riverside, it would have made my mom's trip hell for her, as she is quite limited in walking due to knee replacement surgery. Having the chair full time saved her strength!! Don't be afraid to request one!!

Right, those are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the on-site resorts. Definitly worth asking if you need it!

Thanks for sharing.
Keep in mind that the resort wheelchairs are first come first served and can't be reserved ahead of time. You could take the phone numbers along for the off site equipment rental places. That way, if you can't get one from the resort, at least you have a chance to call and see if one is available.
