Hello All! I haven’t been active on the boards since 2022, but we’re planning another visit from Scotland next May, so yay! I have a question relating to the Candy Cane Inn, which I’ve searched for but not found the answer. Would any of you know if, when you make your reservation for the CCI, your credit card is charged in full at the time of booking, or like many hotels, not charged until check in? They don’t seem to have pre-paid rates or free cancellation options like some also do. Can anyone put me in the picture to assist with our budgeting? This trip also includes a week on Kauai…..!!

Hello! They don't charge your card when making a reservation. They have a 48-hour cancellation policy, and you will be charged if you don't cancel within that timeframe.

As a CCI devotee, no, you dont pay until you check out. The free brekkie has been upgraded since the re-open and the rooms are fabulous... new from top to bottom, including windows. Just found that out last week when checking on my rezzie.
