A little perspective on the Disney cost increase frustrations.

Disney charging a $15 resort fee for WHAT?? For things that are already included? Pssshht... the answer to this one is OFFSITE. Sure, I'll pay to park, but I'll also pay under $100 a night for a room/suite that is at least on par with a moderate (which would be $217 plus tax a night with the new resort fee). Honestly. Talk about blood-suckers.

Several hundred for anything decent - I forget the exact cost. I tried to hit the fan club presale, but wasn't able to get anything remotely good as far as seats go. Still wish I could see them this tour. Hoping the come back at the end of it. Only one date in the NY/PA area? What??

They don't do too many US dates now. Bigger crowds in Europe and South America I'd guess.

Another thing to consider, although it is a minor point, with an AP you save more on room rates and get food and merchandise discounts. This last year our AP saves us about $200 above the public discount on rooms and probably another $200 on merchandise and food. We had the DDP or it would have been more. This obviously does not make up the entire difference between US and WDW or even come close but it is something I think people look over that you do get extra discounts. I did notice though that AP rates seemed to have fewer and fewer options lately when it comes to open rooms.

Actually the Universal Power Passes also give you discounts on room rates.
