A little nervous!

Here is my situation!

We are booked for DCL (cat. 11) - we got a great cash deal and currently have a deposit of $1000 on our reservation. We are renting points from DVCer for a 2 night stay prior to our sail date.

THEN! We decided to buy DVC (resale) waiting to hear on ROFR

The resale has 220 points (2002) and 220 coming Dec.(2003)
TOTAL 440-

We need 420 for all of us to stay in the same category we are in however we would have to rebook through DVC (risking availability!)

Originally, we thought we would not rebook, rather rent our points out immediately after closing! Unfortunately, the 2002 points expire Nov. 30 (not much booking time!).

The sellers can bank 100% 2002 now we then can use those points beginning Dec. 1 2003 (all 440 in one account)

If we have them banked and we use them for the cruise am I correct in thinking we can book our Dec. 6th cruise with those 440 points?

What would you do?

You should be able to do this, you get your Dec. 2003 points on Dec. 1. Sounds like the best way to go. DVC will charge you $75 (I think, it might be a little more) to book the cruise with points, but there should be availability. If not, you've still got Plan B! Diana
