Hi all, first of all can i say what a wonderful site this is and to all of you who post here on a regular basis you really have enhanced my holiday. Keep it up.

I have two little questions: 1. is there any such thing as a babysitting service in disney. Im travelling to DLP with my hubby and three kids (7, 4 & 8 months). I would love to see dreams one of the nights and somehow i dont think they will last till 11pm. 2. if i want to email the hotel do i email the hotel directly or is there a general email address. We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge. We are so looking forward to going.

sorry I don't know if the Sequoia Lodge has an actual babysitting service, but you can call the hotel direct, we have all the numbers in our Very Useful Information sticky at the top of the page, under "booking and contact information".

Sorry do not know about the baby sitting, always worried about leaving the girls with someone I did not know.

It depends on your children but when my girls were little then they always managed to stay awake, we just put the little one in the pushchair and she slept. We would have a break in the afternoon though, this always recharged theirs and ours batteries.

Hope you don't mind me saying this but, you have asked the same question I have about emailing the hotel.
We are staying at NBC and I need to email them about ajoining rooms etc. Is there a thread that has all the hotel emails on?
Thank you DLPdaft just seen your reply.

I'd echo the previous posts in that I'm not sure I'd trust a stranger to watch over my kids anyway and with breaks in the day we managed to see dreams with both children twice (I have a 3 year old DS and 5 year old dd) and I watched it once more just with DD and DS went back to the hotel with DH. I would have quite happily left him with both children and watched it on my own if I'd needed to though! Maybe you and your DH could take it in turns if the children really can't stay up?

I don't know about babysitting either but we went the week before last with children 9, 7 and 4 and they all managed to stay up twice for dreams with a nap in the afternoon. It took a while to persuade them to sleep the first afternoon but after that it was easy. :goodvibes You might be surprised at what they can manage. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone - i totally understand where you are coming from with regard to the babysitter. I was just wondering "just incase" i needed it, i wouldn't mind but i dont leave them even when im at home - lol. My mind is in overdrive, im such a worrier. Hopefully i will be able to get them to have a nap sometime during the afternoon.
