Hubby was joking that if we did get a Corona stimulus, we are going to Disney- so we might be there too LOL. We do have plans for June anyway but just he and I wanted to get away for a weekend or so.

In a few years (3-4) I would like to take a 2-3 week trip (never been longer than 7 days) and late Jan - early Feb (like the trip you have planned) is the time of year I was considering. So you will be living my dream.

We arrive towards the end of your trip but I would like to make a DisMeet happen.

Is there a really specific number to call for 499 day reservations? I'm making my first attempt at a reservation that out in May and I'm not entirely sure how to best approach it.

Disney Hotel reservations: 407-939-1936 https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/help/phone/

For decades I have dialed the old reservation number because it was easy to remember: 407-WDW-DISN(EY).

Voice menu will guide you to the right phone queue:

- package or room only
- California or Florida
- dining or hotel reservation

Since you can't see availability on-line you will just have to ask the CM to check dates and campsite level availability.

Although you would think there would be availability at this far out, right?

PS - you can only get a room only reservation at this point. Packages have to wait until 2021 rates are quoted (but you can always make a room-only now and later convert it to a package).

We have a nice cadre of helpful posters here on the DIS Camping Board, megveg, and I am just one (not on FB, Tw, Inst, yada yada). There is a soft place in my heart for folks just getting started camping, started with trailers/rvs, or planning their first Fort trip - cuz I've been there.

There are folks here (a whole lot smarter than me) who can opine on trailers, towing, vehicles, motors, sites and loops, and it becomes obvious that the DIS in general and the Camping Board especially is filled with folks who have a servant attitude and giving spirit. And having been in sales, I'm a "people person" who likes to meet folks at the Fort that I interact with here on the DIS. I estimate I've met over 50-60 folks and enjoy putting a name with a face. (which is why for the Feb trip I'm going to make the effort to meet the folks above in this thread).

I'll shut up now but I like the pronoun "we/us/you (pl)" rather than you (s)/me/I (plural versus singular). Also, it's against my better judgement, but I will point the webcam at myself for a moment. I'm smiling - this is my happy face.

Hi...I always use a Travel agent (this is our first time at the Fort). Then if any discounts or special promotions come out that we are eligible for, they can get them applied right away.
