A little "didja know" menu trivia.

Nothing earth shaking here, but since both of these pertain to some of our family favorites...

* - 50's Prime Time has a clam po-boy on the lunch menu now. I was a little leery of it - thought I might be getting those pre-breaded, unspeakably chewy little boogers - but they were fresh, lightly breaded, and pretty doggone good.

* - We Southerners who are partial to sweet iced tea balk at that syrup-based, non-brewed goop that is passed off for the real thing... you just can't get it sweetened enough. Well,l we found that the Liberty Tree Tavern has fresh-brewed, sweetened ice tea, and it's GOOD. Our server said it's their most popular beverage, and it's the only place on property that you can get it.

Boy, you sure are right about the sweet tea. My older DD LOVES sweet tea. She goes into withdrawals when we are at Disney. When we stay at Ft. Wilderness though, I make sweet tea for her. Glad to hear it is at LTT.

Brewed Ice Tea!!! Another reason to visit LLT during our next trip. BTW, some midwesterners love sweetened tea too!
