Hello all...DW and I have cruised DCL 38 times now. We have loved them all but were a bit unhappy with the fact that many things were taken away, price increases and the fact that we feel they really don't appreciate the platinum cruisers. A relative asked us to try RC for a 4 night cruise which we finally decided to go for it and try it. Problem now is we can't seem to get the feeling about going now. Maybe we feel we are not being loyal to our first love which is DCL so the recent conversations have been "wish we were going on the Dream". We are paid in full so we could not change it even if we wanted to. Question for others that have switched or tried RC--did you feel that way when you got on the ship and if you did how did you feel at the end of the cruise. How did they compare? We are on the Independence of the Seas for a 4 night with only a stop in Cozumel which we probably won't get off the ship. We have been on all 4 Disney ships with the Fantasy being the favorite but the Magic not far behind. Thanks for any input!

It's a different vacation! That's ok! You might like it and if not you never have to do it agin! Ha!

We are trying RCCL for the podcast cruise in December and I feel like it's going to be really weird!

The rule.

As noted, it's a different vacation. We've been on 3 other cruiselines than Disney, and we've enjoyed them all. Yes, they aren't the same as Disney, but we take them for what they have, not what they don't have.
