A little color on the Dis

Actually maybe a forum called DISversity is not a bad idea. This board has 37(or whatever) forums for every other sub group of visitors from solos, to YA to gays. Some people seem to think Disney IS experienced different for people of color. What do I know?

Perhaps a forum were anyone could discuss specific cuisines, experiences, customs, etc might appease the lack of coverage of chicken waffles that keeps getting mistaken for racism.
That would be an idea for our admins.

Nervous as heck, however I'm there! Again as someone of color (half) and gay - I truly know @WebmasterPete makes everyone feel inclusive.
I'd like to point out that you were on the show because of your trip. You had a unique view and great information. You weren't on because of your skin color or any other reason that might check off a box on a government form. Great job btw.

Look, I dont think by any means they are actively keeping poc out of this.
I genuinely believe they organically just haven't had poc apply when they put the call out.
Also, most people on the show (tech side) were friends of friends that got put in a good word.

Also, just out of curiosity, does anyone know what Kevin Johns (the artist) ethnicity is? Can't tell if really tan white guy, or other.

@CampbellzSoup - I forgot how NOT NERVOUS AT ALL, well-spoken, and gorgeous you were! Thanx for the memories, just enjoyed watching it all over again!

Thanks so much pj! That was my point Pete sees people as people interested in Disney regardless of any kind of background!

Even more gorgeous and well spoken in real life Heidi.

Sure, @CampbellzSoup and Oliver get all the women and @KingLlama and I hang out in the basement playing dungeons and dragons. It's high school all over again.
You know the old saying though Pete: all the good ones are gay or taken.
And let's be honest, none of us commoners are good enough for our friend, the llama king, he's bob flipping Iger!

But really, race/cultural diversity is hard to cover.
You can't have white, Asian, Black, Hispanic on every single show, not can you represent all the cultures of the world.
Now that Oliver is on board, I feel like I have someone to relate to in terms of being an international traveler, because that is completely different than being a domestic (or even from Canada I assume) visitor.

I think the team does pretty well in covering as many opinions as they can while talking about what we all love, Disney!

And someday ...... From a galaxy very far away ........ a THOUSAND years from now ..... Earth People might be having a similar discussion about those GREEN people with those HUGE eyes. LOL!

Really ..... Please forgive me ...... I'm just being silly tonight. But, you know, I sometimes do wonder about how Earth will be about a Thousand years from now. What will our races look like? And will some races be green or maybe the gray ones? ( Thanks for letting me just be a little silly )
