a little bit of a rant, and some frustration

ok, here's a bit of a rant i have to get out: this girl keeps coming up to me asking me for my gold dress. she already has one of my pink ones, and the other pink one is being saved for someone. i can't delete her from my friend's list because i think she thinks i'm one of her top friends and i don't want her to get mad (then again, i may never see her again). so she came up to me a few days ago, and she once again asked for my dress. this time she offered snowman magic (i swear, she's building a princess army). anyway, i told her that the gold dress wasn't for trade. she asked if i had another pink dress and i told her i had one (the person who is getting the pink one would probably rather have snowman magic anyways). so she goes ok, give it to me. i told her i had it on a mule, and that she should meet me in a certain place. well, she seemed unable to figure out the instances, so we arranged to meet another day. i moved the pink dress onto my main character, but before i did, several times i confirmed that it was a pink dress for snowman magic, and she kept saying yes. well, today i met her and guess what?? she asked for the gold dress!!! i told her, trying to be polite, "uh, no you said you wanted pink". well, i think she got mad because she left the trade, and i left the room very frustrated (it takes me a while to trade an item from one player to another- i have to log onto the laptop, have to hook the whole thing up, the internet on it usually doesn't work, etc.) any comments?

I am sorry that you have to deal with that. I have run into a couple of people like that but they weren't "close" friends so I had no problem deleting them in the end. Hold firm with this girl. She will have to understand, if not try not to feel bad about it. If she was such a good friend she would not be pressuring you into trading something you don't want to.

same thing is happing to me theres a this newer player on VMK he is all ways asking me for teleport magic i said no then he askes agian hes so ANNOYING

i know, if someone says that they don't want to trade something, even for all the rare in the world, then they don't want to trade it, end of story. but what's even worse is that the girl told me she was going to give me snowman magic for a pink dress, and then she turns out to be lying......

yeah i really want to, especially because i can't remember how i met her (she may have been friends with a girl who scammed me out of my shoes, and she acted all innocent like she was surprised). i'm just gonna delete her, and hope i never see her again.

Yup I would first send her a message telling her that you will not trade your gold dress, and that she said she wanted pink. For trying to get this gold dress after saying 'no' more than once, she ignored you and found any possible way to get that dress. For that, I would delete her because she doesn't seem much of a friend for doing that.

I would not hesitate at all about deleting her, and I have never purposely deleted anyone on my friends list! That kind of behavior is so completely rude. If she was a little kid who didn't understand something and asked me more than once, I'd forgive her, but this person knows well and good what they are doing. Delete her and don't think twice about it.

Oh, and as for the parting message, I wouldn't even bother. She's only going to think you are wrong for what you do, no matter what you do or how you do it. You are in a no-win situation. Cut your losses and bail!

Yes, exactly my point. That girl is up to no good, you should delete her. I mean she keeps bugging you. I used to have a friend that would always visit me, which was fine but he always wanted my teleportation magic. I had to delete him because he was trying to make me give it to him for free

Because I just run one instance of VMK in IE and one instance in Firefox(which is a free browser) and I can trade between two characters with relative ease. Just wanted to let you know that, athough you may already know that and have some reason that it doesn't work.

Wow. I have had those problems too. Once, this guy was asking me for my Sorcerer's Hat, and he would keep sending messages even though I was unsure to trade it for the rare items he was offering me. Just take her off your friends' list.

I would delete her from your list if I were you. I took a break from VMK for a week once, and I had over 20 messages from the same person! It said "Are you going back on? I miss you" etc.

well if you have a fast computer, and your internet connection is really good you dont need firefox. all you have to do is when you click the login button, and the member name and password is asked for, push CONTROL + N at the same time and another login screen will pop up. then you use one for the mule and one for your real account. hope that works out for ya.
