Well, I’ve been meaning to get a planning report posted, but am just now getting around to it, with only 4 days to go! Better late than never I guess. :lmao:

So, the travelers are:

Me – Jim (40) A WDW freak/geek/etc… I’ve been to WDW several times, but not as much as I would like to go.

DW – Tes (40) This will be her 4th trip (in the last 15 years) She would be happy going once every 10 years, but gets excited about it once we are there :)

DD – Rebecca (11) This will be her 3rd trip. She went before she was 3 and 8.

DD – Allison (8) This will be her 2nd trip. She went before when she was 5.

Niece – Kristin (13) Her first trip!

Niece – Kori (11) Her first trip as well!

Since there are 6 of us, we will be staying at the All Star Music Resort in one of the Family Suites, which from what I’ve seen on here, looks pretty nice.

Back in March, my wife and I, along with my DS and BIL did our reveal for the 4 girls. We really wanted to wait until the last minute, but with me and my DS almost letting the cat out of the bag on several occasions, we decided to do it early. Luckily, it worked out pretty well. :) You can read about it here if you like.

I’ve been planning ever since, using info from here and TGM’s site. Planning is half the fun isn’t it? :) I also got caught up in the LGMHPC craze. I posted a story on here earlier about my adventures with that.

Below is our plans, so far. (I’ve been known to change things around a time or two) We’ll go commando only in the mornings, to make sure that we hit the big ride or two at each of the parks. Once we’ve done that, we’ll slow down and enjoy ourselves a little more. I made autograph books for the girls, so they’ll get to chase characters down after our commando mornings. We’ll be taking daily afternoon breaks and then play the evenings by ear, unless we already have existing plans. We went with the park hopper passes, which I’m sure we’ll put to good use. :)

June 30th - We arrive in Orlando, but will be staying offsite that night since our reservations for ASMu are not until the next day. I wanted to be sure to get in the night before so that would could check in to ASMu early and get to the MK for rope drop. We will head over to Down Town Disney in the evening to get some pre park shopping in, like trading pins for the kids and a Tshirt or two for us.

July 1st – Check in to ASMu, and then head over to the MK for the rope drop! We will be meeting tnmomof4 later that day for our Croc exchange. We will be getting Felicia :) After an afternoon break, we will return to the MK and probably stay for EMH, since our next day will be a sleep in day.

July 2nd – We will head to one of the water parks, although we haven’t decided which one yet. That may be a last minute decision. Depending on how long we stay, we may head over to one of the parks that evening. Or we may go play putt putt and then hang around the hotel.

July 3rd – This will be a busy Epcot day. We will head over there for rope drop, and try to hit Soarin’ right away. The trip from the front gate to there should be fun :) We have reservations for lunch at the Garden Grill right before noon, and then we’ll head back to the room for a break an hour or two after that. We’ll be meeting aubeone and his family that night and share an Illuminations cruise, which should be fun. Once that is over, we’ll head back over to Epcot to meet DisneyBee, MouseAddicts, and Msgrimm23 for a Croc reunion. The plan is to get all 4 Crocs together for their first meeting (I think) and to snap a few pictures, which we’ll post over in the Croc thread.

July 4th – We’re going to avoid the MK today and head over to MGM studios. Not that it will be any less crowded there. :lmao: We have a Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood & Vine for 4pm that day, so we’ll probably be taking our daily break late before heading back over to watch the 4th of July fireworks and then to watch Fantasmic. It will be our first time seeing it but I’ve heard that it’s pretty good.

July 5th – Heading over to AK for rope drop and to join the mad dash to EE. :) We’ll hit the Kali river ride and safari ride sometime after that and then play the rest by ear. There will probably be a visit to Camp Mickey and the Lion King show in there sometime as well.

July 6th – Back to the MK. We have reservations for CRT around 8am, which we have not told the kids about. Let’s hope that I can keep this surprise a surprise. After that, we’ll let the kids pick their favorite rides to go on, as well as letting them chase down as many autographs as they want. We will also be meeting NJOYURLIFE at some point to hand Felicia over. We’ll probably stay for EMH again, since we’ll be able to sleep in the following day.

July 7th – Our last day at WDW :( This will be a flex day since we do not have anything planned for it yet. We may park hop and chase down autographs, or head to a park to hit a ride one last time. We’ll probably head over to DTD and go to Disney Quest in the evening.

July 8th – Time to check out of ASMu and say goodbye to WDW for now. We’ll be back though, you can count on that! :thumbsup2

If things go as planned, we’ll be meeting 6 other Dis’ers! I’ll be wearing my LGMHPC , with my Dis name on it, hanging off of my Lime Green Focker Lanyard that I got from *MickeyFan*. So if you see me, say hi, or at least give me the Lime Look! Go Team Focker Watch!

I am really impressed with your planning, especially for a guy, lol! Let me know when you return, and I can move your post to our regular boards. Plus, I can do some merging, so the threads are all together.
