Okay, so we'll be staying at BW.

How much of a hassle would it be to go to MK and then go to Grand Floridian for dinner and get back to BW from there? Is it worth it? We will be a large party w/3 kids aged 7, 5 & 2 and the grandparents will be along too.

What would be the best way to get back? I know we could get back via Disney transportation, but I'm thinking a taxi would be easier-only problem is we'll be a total of 9 people. Any suggestions?

From the Magic Kingdom, you can take the monorail over to the Grand Floridian. After dinner, take the monorail back to the TTC and then take the bus back to Boardwalk.

I think you need to take the monorail back to the MK and then take the bus back to the BW. I don't believe BW busses go to the TTC. You should make sure that your dinner reservation is within MK's operating hours for that day. Busses will run to at least 1 hour after park closing.

And if all else fails you can bus from the GF to DTD and then to BW from there as those buses run real late for PI.

It may be quicker to take the boat from MK to GF. The monorail need to make 3 stops before it arrives the GF. The boat will either stop first at the Poly and then GF or make GF the first stop.. I am not sure what the order is.

Thanks guys. I'm still thinking that when we leave the GF we should take a taxi back to BW just because it would be easy? I know there are ways to get back on the bus/monorail/boat and get to the TTC or DTD and then on to BW, but it seems like it would be a huge pain w/the kids.

Thanks for the tip. That may be a good choice.
