I know all about the dairrhea. Claire's 3rd day home with it. I have been waiting for almost 1 1/2 hours for the Dr. to call me back. I guess it's not a priority to them.

Poor Baby I hope she gets better soon, and her back side isn't too sore. Hopefully you'll get a call soon.

Did they call? Did you give her pediatric Imodium A-D? And don't forget the electrolytes and give Gatorade or something along those lines...

They never called back so after 1 1/2 hours I called them back. They had us come in just to be sure nothing else was wrong, but it's a virus, which is what i figured. I just need to keep giving her lots of liquids, which I have been doing and she can eat normally, avoiding dairy though.
Yesterday she was pretty much "going" gatorade. It was reddish, just about the color she was drinking. She is in really good spirits, but her rear end is very sore. He said she couldn't go back to scholl till she was down to going only about 2-3 times a day. She had already gone 6 times befoe we left the house this morning and has gone a few more times since we've been home, so it may be a few days yet.
Barb, I have never heard of pediatric Imodiom, but I may look and see if I can find some. It's sad when you are missing school for almost a week because you can't stop "poohing". (theres my Disney reference )
I called the school and we are about to leave and go pick up her homework. I figure we might as well get a start on that now. We have been practicing her spelling words, but thats all we had.

I had hoped to get up another update, but it might not happen today. But I do plan to get it up by tomorrow for sure.

The Dr. didn't say to give it to her. Actually he never mentioned taking anything at all, but I had kind of wondered. Barb suggested it. I may look for some because we have a busy weekend up ahead of us. I feel so bad for her little sore rear end.

OH Gosh! I better not look! I was thinking that in Feb. for my B-day, my sister who lives down there could bring up some for our family party. (Her b-day is 3 days after mine and we usually get to gether for dinner and dessert with the family)

I hope so too. She actually got up twice last night and went. But it's getting to be a better consistancy at least. No long pure liquid.....Aren't you glad I started out my day telling you that!

Claire and I headed off to the front to see if my phone was left in the van. Now this phone was only about 7 months old and the nicest phone I have ever owned as well, a droid, so I worried even more about finding it. I have insurance, but I have no clue what it covers, plus all the lost info on it.
As we got near to Spaceship Earth, who should I see coming out of the bathroom….my Dad! I hollered over to him, then made a few rude comments about whether or not the launch sequence had started and then asked if he saw my phone in the van. He didn’t and of course gave me a bit of a hard time (jokingly) about me saying I had it when I left. Mom came out of the bathroom and I asked her as well. No, she didn’t remember seeing it either. I said I was going to go check, but she told me to just take her phone since Dad had his and we could communicate that way. Now this was stupid on my part. I just was too lazy to walk back out to the van to go look and I just forgot about it for the rest of the day. Also, just because I had her phone, didn’t mean I knew how to use it. LOL! I had a heck of a time trying to figure that bugger out.
We decided that since we were together we would ride Spaceship Earth.

The line was kind of long, but it moved quickly.

And then I had them pose for a family shot. I took 2 and neither turned out too great.

Soon we were on our journey. I rode with Dad. I took a lot of pictures, some turned out OK, while others not so much.

I got a few pictures of Dad and I. We were laughing at how dumb we (mostly me because I purposely made that face) looked.

I love this one! LOL

I guess I never took one of Mom and Claire. But I did get a pic of Dad and I on the big screen as well.

I believe we separated after this. I reminded them the time and where to meet for lunch and off Claire and I went.

I believe we headed over to the Seas next.

Hope she's feelin better today. The Imodium is actually mint flavored and worked really well the two times I had to use it when Bub's was around her age. (Sadly, he's at that age/weight where he's growin up and taking regular adult meds Where's the time go? )

Great picture! I still haven't figured out if I can do this fuzzy background thing with my camera. I called Canon and they said I could if I used the portrait mode, but I haven't had time to practice yet.

I'm just getting caught up over here and there's no way I can comment on all I have missed! Loved all the Seaworld pics though. That whale was enormous!!!

I think they were all giving me that face! I may fun up to Rote Aid today and see if they have any. Our county fair is starting tomorrow and we usually go several times (it's a big event for us hicks! ). And Claire is supposed to go see Phineas and Ferb in concert on Sat. I was actually supposed to go wit hher (I think we have like 6th row seats), but that darn Skip has weasled his way in and is taking my ticket. If I had known he wanted to go I would've bought him one back in the spring when I bought ours. I looked now and the cost of a ticket is more than what I paid for the 2 of urs back then and terrible seats, so I guess I will be missing out. And he already told me he won't be taking pictures.
So I want to get her plugged up a bit so he doesn't have to run her to the bathroom over and over.

I really was a scatter brain that trip. I hope I got most of it out of me and I'l lbe good for years to come!
I am way behind too. At one point I was almost completely caught up with eveyopne TR's and then this week, with wiping a rear all week long, it's become not such an easy task to keep up. Plus I really want to try and get this finished!

On to the Seas!

The line was pretty much walk through. I tried to grab a few shots, but I was moving to fast to get anything good.

We soon had our journey on the clamobile and exited. We also made a stop to talk with Crush. Claire was disappointed that she wasn’t picked to talk to Crush this time around. (she was last trip and it turned on me and I had to talk to him as well) I let her know that other kids get to have a turn as well and she seemed fine with that.
We totally skipped the picture with Bruce. I guess I forgot.
We did stop and take a few outdoor pictures though.

We decided to head over to Figment next. Claire had made a comment that last trip we totally missed it, so I wanted to be sure she did ride it this time.

I loved the silly face you made on Spaceship Earth. It makes the scenes so much more fun when you make a silly face. I can't believe how much Claire has grown since that first picture in front of The Seas. Our babies are growing up way too fast.

I'm glad Claire is on the mend - what a rough week though! I think I'd be trying find immodium after this many days too.

I have to ride Spaceship Earth this trip - I haven't ridden in since 2005. 2007 was refurbishment and we just didn't get to it in 2009. Is it obvious when they take your picture if you haven't ridden it before?
