A Halirious Oreo Story (inspired by what's your favorite dessert thread)

My BF and I did Weight Watchers together, (don't ask what happened!) anyway, she calls me on my cell while I am in the market and tells me how excited she is because a serving of oreos is only 3 points. I say yeah but my problem is I can't just eat three cookies. She says 3 cookies, what are you talking about you can eat 17, the package says a serving is 17!! I say no way, she says yes way so I hightail it over to the oreo cookie aisle to check it out, cuz if she's right, I will open it up and chow down my 17 cookie 3 point serving right now! I look at the package and crack up. It says 3 cookies per serving, 17 serving per package!! Too add to it, she had already eaten her "serving" I think I lost a few pounds laughing so hard!! I love my best friend so much!!! She is on the board so she will be reading this and keeling over from embarrasment

I think it's funny but I've done Weight Watchers. I don't think that until you have looked at serving sizes on a regular basis you would "get it". But 3 points for 17 Oreos would be a good deal.

When I worked at the Disney store I was doing weight watchers and one of my cast members was also. She had brought an egg mcmuffin to work and I asked how many points it was. She said something like -3- I think she look at just an english muffin. It was very funny to us too--I was like NO WAY THAT IS 3 POINTS!

That's funny .

When I was pg I had gest. diabetes so I had to watch my carbs. I got into the habit of checking all the carbs in different cookies. I got all excited once because there were only something like 12 carbs in a serving of chips deluxe cookies. Well, one serving was one stinking cookie ! What a rip-off! Now if I was allowed to scarf down 17 oreos that would have been heaven .

I am laughing so hard at this! It was funny when I was reading the first part but when I got to the part where she's ALREADY eaten her 'serving' for the day I was laughing so hard. I could just see myself doing something like that. She probably has to eat veggies only the rest of the day.
