I Know it is supposed to be WARM..But I LOVE cold Guinness:goodvibes ..Is it served both ways at R&C?...also my DW heard of a drink made of Guinness & Champagne! What is this called, and does anyone have a review for us?

ROFLO, welll, its' not REALLY meant to be warm!

Guinness & Champagne, thats a black velvet. If ypou do like Guinness then try a black and tan :)

I can't give you a review on the taste, it is too rich for me, but my OH loves i.

I like my Guinness cold too! The Guinness at the R&C is served cold. I may be wrong but I think that they only have the cans at the outdoor kiosk. If you want draft you may need to go into the bar area of the pub.

Guinness is NOT supposed to be warm. trust me, H worked for the company, and while I don't remember the exact temp (and he's not here to remind me) it is never supposed to be warm.

there are a ton of drinks made with guinness...I think the list is endless.

I have heard about Drinking G warm (im pretty sure its huge in Europe) imo it taste better cold... ice cold... R&C has the best bartenders & if you ask them, they will even put a sham in the foam for ya...

I've been to Ireland twice...and we drank Guinness everywhere from small town pubs to The Storehouse (the pub on top of the Guinness brewery at ST James Gate) and never was it served warm. The REAL problem is, in the US most bartenders don't pour it properly, and it makes a difference, really it does. If they are not busy, you can ask the bartenders at the Rose and Crown to let it rest for a proper pour.

Here in the southern US, a black velvet is Guinness/hard cider.
