I am looking at getting a guide book to Disneyland Paris that would have a Touring plan for a 2 night 3 day stay...We just want to use our time affectively as we are from Canada and won't be able to go back for a long time if even ever...

Do any of you have a good suggestion?

Thanks:wave:

The Brits guide is a fantastic guide book to DLP and has touring guides planned out in the back as well :thumbsup2

Are there days in October that we should avoid? We really want to see the Pumpkin People...Are the plans worth doing? Do they really save a lot of time in lines?

I would avoid the 31st Oct and any weekends - go on a weekday and the parks are a lot quieter!

I wouldnt bother with the touring plan I would just follow the same rules as any disney theme park - use fast pass and get on big hunder mountain/space mountain/crush's coaster earlier to beat the queues!

I am sure you will have a great time when are you getting to France/europe?

Heya!

Brits guide is a great book!

But if you have enough spare time at your PC you'll learn all you need to know from here!!

Best way to beat the lines is to stay on site and take full advantage of extra magic hours (2 extra hours each morning for disney hotel guests) you can do the whole of fantasyland and discoveryland twice in this time, which will save you loads!!

Check the school holidasy (I know UK schools have a weeks break in Oct) - info in useful sticky at top of thread.

Go during weekdays!! The pumpkin ppl will be there all october!! :)

Also, you can buy extra fastpasses on ebay or if you stay at castle club in DLH or empire state club at HNY you get VIP fastpasses! That's what I'll be doing next halloween to skip the queues as I'll be going for the halloween party weekend (fingers crossed!)

Thank you all for the info...We can't wait. It's 12 months away because DH got his call for his new knee for October 24th so we can't go this year but this will help us be super prepared for Oct 2009.:thumbsup2

Sorry to hear about DH. But this also gives you plenty of opportunity to get lots of advice for planning your trip to DLP :goodvibes

We had 2 days there in the 1st week of October 2006 and we walked onto most of the rides with hardly any queue. There were no crowds really, and the weather was lovely.

We went on a Tuesday and Thursday from the campsite we were staying at, as I had read online that they were usually the quietest days.

I would never go in summer or special times although I know Im missing out, I find the thought of standing in long queues all day really depressing.

Hope you have fun planning your trip ;)

WOW you can do both both fantasyland & discoveryland twice in one day using EMH in the mornings.

We will be getting their Dec 12 (fri -- 1230) wondering how to handle that day since its likely to be busy being a friday in Dec and we wont have EMH that day but will for the rest of our trip.

Thanks
Lauren

Yeah, during our EMHs last trip we walked on every single ride in fantasyland for the first hour, then went on space mountain and buzz with less than 5 minute queues a couple of times during 9-10.

Most of our EMH time gets spent taking lots of lovely quiet photos!!

Our firsst day was heaving on our last trip, arrived at 12.30 also, bit we were so excited we jsut went with the flow. SLow walk down main street, then a 30 min wait for small world, 1hr for pirates and 1hr30 for big thunder.

On your first day its all worth it though, then after one EMH you get spoiled!!
