AS much as I am unaccustomed to doing a pretrip, the MOD cajoled and berated me until I finally could no longer stand the pressure!!!
(actually she asked me to post! heheheheh)
The upcoming voyage actually started last september.
While in the room at the Polynesian, I was looking at all the cards and whatnot on the nightstand, and saw the "book now through the room phone, and get food! advertisement! Since I like food, I thought that it would be worth it! All I needed was a credit card, and if we decided to cancel, we would get the amount refunded.
I did it!! the only wierd thing I noticed, is that when booking in advance, the reservation people want to know your flight number FOR NEXT YEAR!!!
Since I hadn't even thought of getting airline tickets yet, I told them to use the same flight numbers. (sorry, can't do that!) a further query by myself revealed the reason for the need, was that I asked for a towncar, and they HAD to know when I was arriving, so they could schedule it.
I pointed out that even if I did have tickets now, the flight would be in the evening, as I had to fly from the west coast, and arrival times were always in the evening for us. Rather than book the town car, she eliminated it from the package, and told me to call and add, when I got the flight information.(?)
she did receive a pirate ARRRGGGHH for that one. After the phone call, a trip to the pool area for a Pina Colava was necessary! (actually just an excuse!)
