Andy, Nicole and Kevon are in the air. They are over Atlanta. My darling hubby had me look up flighttracker which is more updated than United. They are scheduled to land here at midnight...which is 1-1/2 hours from now. I am going to bed and, hopefully, Andy will kiss me when he is home so I know he is home safe and sound.

Morning, Pickle Friends!!! It's FRIDAY!!

DONE! I'm searching new restaurants at Disney that I might want to try. Anyone hear anything about this new place, Saana, or something like that, at AKL?

I saw a great review in someone's dining TR...I'll try and see if I can find it again, and give you the link. I also saw a not so great review too, but it waasn't as if it was a terrible experience, the family just discovered that they didn't like that type of food.

Had to fix something else on the plane. This exact thing happened to us when we flew home last year. They had to fix the computer on the plane. Got it fixed and something else went wrong with the computer. They couldn't get a new computer so they wanted to fix this one. I finally said to Mark if they didn't bring in a new plane I was getting on the Amtrak and taking the train home! I really hate flying and I know I'm not going to sleep until Andy is in this house!

I hate that...I would be so nervous to get back on the plane. I really don't mind mechanical delays..I know that they are fixing it to keep us safe......BUT when they have mechanical issue after issue, I get nervous.

My FIL is doing well so far. He should be able to go home Sun or Mon. They aren't going to do chemo or radiation, just watching him closely. Brian is going down again this morning to be with him.

My eyes are very droopy today; they landed at midnight and he got home around 2 a.m. after they picked up car, dropped Nicole off and then drove Kevon home. I tell him it is the rich man's sport (luckily, he works part-time at a golf course so he gets a "deal" when he golfs.

So to recap... I have pickles too, so we will have to just keep swimming

I was so happy to see my girls! I loved having some time alone and with the dh, but I MISSED them.

What time did they finally get in? Glad for all tomorrow begins the weekend - and selfishly, it means we have a better chance of a mini TR all about that "other" resort.

If we ever go for a full week or more, I'd consider driving to Disney. Although...In December....flying is probably a better option cause of weather up this way.

You could probably stay a couple days longer with the money saved by driving. How long of a drive is it from PA? I know you are about 7 1/2 hours once you reach Fayetteville in NC.

You probably figured this out already... you do need to resize them to post. It will save the new size in photobucket, but will not change them on your computer. Copy and paste the IMG code into your posts.

Glad you got there safely! I can't imagine my kids being gone for 3 weeks. They went to Chicago last year with the grandparents for a week, and the house was SO QUIET!! It was nice for a day or 2, but then I was over it!
