Taking a break from going thru boxes, looking for docs (I work in a legal dept) so I though I would check in with you all. Its fun posting here and getting to know you all - it brightens the day!
Tell me about it! I posted a review of Pop after our stay there in Oct. It was basically a good review, and we really liked the resort. (Surprised me, actually!) My one negative comment was that when showering at 1am, I turned and bent down to get my shampoo, then stood up to find myself nose to crotch with somebody's thong underwear!I didn't stress over it... just stopped by the main desk on my way out the next morning, and asked that they remove them when cleaning the room. (And we left the shower curtain pulled back so they were easily visible... they were tied around the clothes line.) Got back to the room about 7, and they were still there... room made up, shower curtain pulled closed and everything. So we go to the food court, and I stop by the desk again, and ask them to please send someone to remove them. We eat dinner, go to Poly for Wishes, ride the monorail for a bit, then get back to the room at 11:00... thong is still there! At this point, it was just the principle of the matter... but I went to the front desk and complained to the manager. FINALLY someone came and took them. Anyway, long story short (too late!) I was royally flamed because I was too lazy to throw them out. HELLO! Somebody's nasty thong underwear TIED to the clothesline... not like it could be done without overly handling them. But... I guess I'm just a whiner!

Oh how awful!! I would have been pissed (can I write that here?)I used post on the POP thread (sometimes still do) - why on earth do DISers flame one another for stuff like this? Geesh, I don't care if someone despises my very favorite resort - it was their experience and so I have to respect that. SHEESH! SOME PEOPLE!!
