I think what we need is for the group of us to plan a trip in 2010 (since Minnie&Nana, karibritt01 and I can't go to Disney this year) where we all meet up and we can have a huge hugfest, have lots of drinks and have lots of laughs!

Sounds good to me because I'm sitting here bawling.

Know what is funny... my kids HATE the photos of the new rooms! My DS11 says "They ruined it! I can't believe they took out all the color!" We all loved the tacky painted armoires and headboards... so different than anything we own! Now it looks like my house, right down to the pale green in my bedroom and cherry furniture!

HA! That's why I love the rooms too! My entire house is cherry wood or mahogany, except for the kitchen. I was too po' for cherry cupboards so ended up with oak. I hate oak. :rotfl:

You're fixin to head to LA, eh? Well, :wave2: to my SIL as you pass through! :lmao: :rotfl2:

ABSOLUTELY!!! OMG, how I'd love s trip like that!

Kathy, yes, we do share August 22 ....and as I was typing that date I was thinking of you.

Oh my goodness. I am so ashamed. I *just* noticed your tribute to your son in your signature. :sad2: I am so very sorry for your loss. I'm only three years older than he. You could be my momma!! Big hugs to you. :grouphug: I wish you strength and hope to get through the bad times.

Don't be silly:hug:...no reason to feel bad about not noticing...it's a quiet little tribute intentionally. Thank you for the kind words though.

Your momma?? Have you lost your mind???!!! :faint: You're older than my DD! :rotfl: (okay, by maybe a yr or so). Hey, I do have friends your age, ya know.:3dglasses I may be older than dirt, but I'm still a spring chicken!! :yay:

Hoop Dee Doo was so much fun! They have fried chicken, ribs, baked beans, corn on the cob, and strawberry shortcake... all you can eat. They also have free beer and sangria. :cool1: The show is a slapstick comedy show that reminds me of watching Hee Haw with my Daddy when I was little. We took the kids there our first family trip to WDW. (Tucker was 8 and Avery was 3.) It was fun for all of us... tons of adult humor for us, and the kids were rolling over the slapstick. Both kids still remember the show quite well, and want to go back next time we are there. We did dinner there about 7:30 on a MK EMH night. We left there and took the ferry to MK, and watched Wishes on the way to MK. It was a magical evening!

That sounds like a lot of fun. Would two adults, both over the age of 50, be out of place going alone?

Gosh I sure hope not. Hubby is over 50 and you can bet yer bottom dollar I'll be dragging him to it. ;)

Um, so where is this Hoop di do da thingy anyways? I've never even heard of it.

Will do! I can always stop by and check her out for you... I could claim to be another long, lost sibling or something! ;)

Well, yes. Yes, I have lost my mind. You just noticing that NOW??!?! :rotfl2:

Ya think?!?!

Not a bit! We were among the minority having youg kids there. But.. I never let anybody tell me what I can or can't do with my kids... so in they went! My DS eats more than I do, and I imagine they were wishing I had left him at home!

No, I noticed a while back....which is why so many of us are still around....great minds work alike. :rotfl2:

Speaking of the Hoop-dee-Doo, I still can't believe how much we loved that show! We've gone a few times...although the ribs are not as good as years ago, but still pretty good.

Now I'm hungry.popcorn::

Kathy, who won the game today? When I checked this afternoon (we have WGN) the SOX were ahead, so I couldn't bear to watch. I'm such a wimp.:confused3

It is in Fort Wilderness campground. You do need to have tickets to get in to it. They were expensive, but very worth it. (You can use your "Poly cash!")

Well, girls, I must be up bright and early to care for 9 mo old Sophia, who is now everywhere at every second. I'm soooo tired!! I need a vacation....hey, who wants to go to WDW with me!! :dance3:

Night everyone..rest well. :goodvibes

Speaking of hungry... whose idea was the grilled tomato and swiss samich? I tried that the other day, and it is delish!

Oh my Lord. Speaking of grilled sammiches... take a guess at how many grilled cheese and onion sammiches I've had. Actually, I should prolly just get you to guess how many LOAVES of bread I've gone through... :rolleyes1

God bless your husband. :faint: Hope ya have a good toothbrush!!!:rolleyes1

:wave2: Night Christine!

I eat those sammiches about 4 days a week for either breakfast or lunch! And the kids like them (sans onions) for an after school snack.
